I remember once opening a bottle of beer from a mini bar in a Norwegian hotel room to discover that someone had opened the bottle, drunk the beer, refilled the bottle with piss, put the top back on and then put the bottle back in the fridge.

Bastard, but I only took one swig.

Apparently it's quite common in Norway, I guess because of the price of everything.

Aussies have gotta stop whinging and start paying attention. Maybe not everyone's got time to read the label. Where it's produced etc but they should. If I posted that pic on Facebook every fucko in the county would have an opinion rightly or wrongly. Still.once it's on a hotdog the kids don't get all pissy and woke.yet.

Yes stuffs expensive here. Some notice the prices at checkout some dont. I do though. Been back in Oz 5 years now and at first I didn't think things were to expensive then covid struck. It seemed the whole supply chain couldn't cope then prices started going up. They still are

Australia was reasonably priced when I worked there 22 years ago, if appears to be one of the most expensive countries in the world now.

^^ Mate, whenever I go on a passport run my first stop is 7-Eleven, where along with several 'adult' products I always procure a carton or orange juice and a small bottle of fresh milk to go with my Yorkshire teabags stashed away in my wash bag.

Monumental amounts of Leo for my hotel room fridge goes without saying, so long as I check in before 2pm. Otherwise I'm buggered and have to wait until 5pm for the Leo, or stay in the pub all afternoon, etc etc. I cannot say how frustrating the Thai licensing laws are at times and how they completely disrupt my itinerary at times.

Anyway, to my knowledge I've never left any bottles of Leo in my hotel room fridge, but I've lost count of the number of times I've left half used bottles of Meiji milk. I never know whether to pour the milk down the sink or to leave it in case someone will make use? I still don't really know, to be honest.

But anyway, if ever your missus gets a job in Bangkok please give me a nod.
