My cards are posted. I only do 6 these days, so that was easy. Whether or not they'll arrive in 2024 is anyone's guess.
    Makro is playing Jingle Bells.
I have booked a dinner for 24th. Not quite as fancy as TC's.
I am thinking of roasting a duck for 25th.
I am so far ahead of the game this year!

The kid's been invited to her best friend's house who's having a party with lots of super fun games and I have to go too.

If that's not horrific enough, the best friend is a child youtuber and the party is content creation.

    The joy.

^ You should take your new girlfriend along. It would be nice for her to have people closer to her age to chat with!

I don't send cards these days, just a Whatsapp message to close friends and family.

This won't apply to you Shutree, as you only send six cards.

But, if ever you make another 94 friends and move back to the UK, this advice may come in useful?

Cheaper for Brits to fly to Europe and send Christmas cards than put them in British postboxes - with flight prices less than 100 first-class stamps | Daily Mail Online

^ I bought 2 first class stamps last week to send off them DNA ancestry kits, was shocked at the price. First time I've posted anything in years and that includes Xmas cards.
Prefer an electronic jovial version nowadays and it saves getting trees cut down.

We don't send cards anymore. Niece and nephew gets a present mailed though. It's also their birthday in December so costs almost as much for the postage as it does the actual presents. Bastards.

There are almost no cards here that are from recycled material.

Although a heck of a lot of cards in the UK are recycled. It's rare to get one from there that isn't these days.

Still, you must be brassic after forking out for a candle for every year of your current gf's birthday cake.

I bought three pieces of Christmas trivia off Lazada, cheap tat, just something for the grandchildren that maybe they'll use every Christmas. Then off to the Post Office. Much more to post to UK than to buy, shipped from China. Close to Baht 2K. Standard airmail, which she reminded me repeatedly had no tracking number. I had a couple of small Christmas plates that didn't get sent, by the time they were wrapped and boxed it was just ridiculous to spend so much on postage. So now I have two new plates to add to my Christmas cheer.

    You must love Christmas, Joe.

Same thing year after year after year.

    You love repetition it seems.

That's fooked this season though, eh?

Is that Schadenfreude or a Cygmund Freudian slip though?

To take joy at the misfortunate of others is for MISS ANNE THROBS, CUR mudgeons or what Chitty calls Cockwombles.

Seeing as though it's this season of good will, we fed a homeless person...

It's nice to be nice, although the smelly fvcker muttered something about £2 for a bag of Spice to my youngest.

In your rather silly cartoon version of my posts.

In truth, you clearly just feel threatened by educated adults.
