Just an observation:
Anyone who has lived in Asia a looooong time should know:
a. Anytime a small business is about to go out of business, there is never any forewarning. They never say....We will shut down our business in two weeks. And, it's been nice to know you. One never has any "inkling" that things are amiss...before the whole business shebang just suddenly disappears...like a puff of smoke, or vapor from vape.
b. And so, in the same vein, I have recently been wondering if TV has just done the same.
c. It's a shame, really. It matters not to me whether I might or might not like or love TV. TV has sort of been an institution for some, for many years.
d. One thing, though, that I shall miss: The ads on TV. So many ads, and so many ads that, in fact, never seemed to be "on target" for TV viewers.
e. For example, although there were MANY ads, and so many ads which interfered with both posting and reading content on TV, I cannot recall even ONE ad which motivated me to buy anything. Mostly, I received ads in strange languages, like Chinese and Thai. Even the ads offered to me in English were not helpful to me. Some days, I would see ads about lady's knickers, for example. I mean the really cheap ones. Just not my style.
f. As of today, this TV mystery continues to get curiouser and curiouser, as Alice might say. Has TV disappeared down some rabbit hole, or something?
g. Even if TV never returns, I will still be able to get good Thai visa advice from my agent. And so, I am not much worried about where TV might be.
h. And, it really is strange, Through-The-Looking-Glass strange, that when I google the TV forum, it's almost as if Google has completely erased all traces of recent an past posts made by commenters on the TV forum.
Truly, this is a conundrum for the likes of Dodgson to solve.

I had, several times, depended upon TV for good farming advice when I most needed it...
And, for this farming reason, I will sorely miss TV, I think.
