^There should be a skating icon as there is on mine. You click the button on the side and pick your activity. You can gauge your distance, calories, etc if you can on the fitbit (I think you have that smartwatch?). I use it for cardio, walking, jogging, even for yoga.

I slacked off a bit today, only 14,973 at 6pm. Pretty much when I call it a day. 187 active minutes logged including a 8km bike ride. Active calories burned show 1,515. That's good for 3 beers and a nice knock of a Rye.

I'm doing a 1 hour and 50 minute walk to save a $35 cab ride to the rental car place in Edmonton. Got nothing else to do this morning so why not.

I used to quite enjoy my 1 hour walk to work back in the UK. Easier to keep warm in a cold climate rather than keep cool in a warm climate.

These were the days before podcasts but I caught a decent radio show along the way

I think factory settings have it at 6k anyway, don't they?

Unless it's one of the days when I'm sat at home recovering from the night before, it's somewhere between 6 and 10k for a normal day.

A decent walk results in it being around 20k.

That is true. It was a overcast this morning so the weather was perfect. Just cool enough for a thin sweatshirt.

    Good man.

And why not. You have legs.

I was previously studying Thai 3 days a week at a center 7km away from the house, would walk there, 2 hour Thai lesson, and walk back. Home for lunch with 14km and a productive 2 hours of education under me belt.

Getting new wheels put on a car at 9:30 this morning at a place 8km away, will walk the 8km back home and then the 8km back to collect it at 3pm. Why the fok not, I've got legs. A tidy 16km for the day.

Because it is either hot as a bitch or thunderstorms. There is no pavement, the passing trucks will kill you, either by imact or particulate inhalation, or the soi dogs will rip you apart. Carry on.

Actually had 2 women in the 40-45 year old age bracket stop and ask if they can take me to where I'm going, one on a Scoopy one in a pickup.

They were very chirpy and friendly, and I suspect what they were really after was a no-strings afternoon sesh of Cheddo Stud Pounding and multiple orgasms.

    10k+ steps
    421kcal

Lunch with pickup woman, then 9km back to pick up the car.

If I've consumed som tum, generally very short and very quick. Other than that virtually none but I do stand in on one leg for about 3 minutes on each every day. I gradually increase the time once I can do it without losing my balance. My goal is five minutes. I doubt these old legs and joints will be able to do much more.
