The difference is (from what I've seen in reports), is that female love scammers use their own pics - they will usually send sexy pics of themselves. While the male scammers (the Nigerian scam groups) use pics of Caucasian men, usually those available from stock photos.

Actually a lot of the "female" love scammers are just Nigerian blokes sat in Lagos internet cafes.
