the conversation I am outraged about,
    Yea .. that's right OUTRAGED!!
is about the disparaging remarks you made concerning said thai broom.
You said: " I showed my wife one day after she swept with one and I came back with a synthetic broom and I swept up a pile of that crap"
Now, I am a pretty peaceful man, a pacifist by heart. But a man has to draw the line somewhere.
So the competition is between your "synthetic' broom" and my thai style broom whose reputation you so wantonly attacked.
    Yea wantonly I say.
But if you want to bring your EGO 650CFM 52 Volt cordless blower, please feel free to also bring it over .At my age I will take any blowing I can get.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

OK broom wars it is BB.

I actually have 3 weapons of choice. I have the local 12" wide polyester hand held broom that clips to the dust pan ( seldom used). For the larger jobs like sweeping out the car park area I have an industrial size commercial broom with heavy plastic bristles. Wife and FIL hate it...why....because laughingly its "To Heavy" but they both admit it works incredibly well. For underneath the house to clear out all the dust, sand, dirt and dog hair I have my cordless leaf blower. Of the 3, there is absolutely no doubt which ones cleans the area and quickly. My FIL ( God bless him) still sneaks off and finds a Thai rice broom to use in his area. But it is outside so its his deal. He likes it because its light weight forget that it actually works.

The only thing I have found any use for with a Thai broom is to chase the dogs out when they become a nuisance downstairs. Now I just point and stare and they bail out.

I don't think the above is a regulation broom and thus is disqualified from international competition under the sanctioned Federated Administration of Rules Trust ( F.A.R.T) ,.
FART is no laughing matter, When FART speaks I listen, I suggest you do the same.

Talking of hoovers, we have 3 of them. The first is a wet and dry cleaner that I bought because it cleans well. However, wife decided it was too noisy so she had me buy a second, which is a bit like a henry. I was happy with it but have to take it to bits to clean every time I get home because cleaner just uses it, can't maintain it.

Upstairs, in our bedroom, we have a philips plug-in, which is also used for the car. I like it and it's good for the bedroom/car but not as a main. I have to take it apart every month or so and clean filter etc. It lasts about 45 mins between charges. Good for cobwebs though.
