Yes he'd have us believe he's a cucumber sandwich sort of chap (crusts removed of course, Gin and tonic on the side) but the fact of the matter is, he's a bacon samidge eating oik and his chosen drink is probably tall bottles of Chang

Anyways, for anyone else feeling desolated that Yorkies is no more! as reported by our roving retard who's travels around town are limited by the 10 Baht fare public transport system and Shanks's pony, I happened to drive past their shop and factory on Chaiapruek 1 yesterday (in my rather nice car which is a by-product of being a ditch digger and certified Engineer ) and it will come as no surprise to most that they're still open. So back I went this morning to buy some bacon and other assorted smallgoods.

Needed to get some bread on the way home for a bacon and egg brekkie samidge and decided on an Italian roll. Was quite surprised to see a loaf named after our favourite sausage smuggler, but on a 2nd look it said Thick Cut.

It is indeed very tasty bacon and quite different to the mass produced products normally seen, but I'll stick to Manston's streaky for now.

Stand-by for a strongly worded post on how completely and utterly fucked up Jomtien is because there's no public omnibus service to the door of Yorkies

Their English Sausages are also really good - authentic recipe, unlike some.

Sorry, but not that impressed by them- and I thought their pork pies kinda sucked. Back in the early 00's, they were like the only game in town for that kind of stuff.
My favorite place for sausages was a German owned joint in Naklua (close to our very own Sausages abode). But no evidence of them still existing.

They didn't have any fresh sausages in their cold windows like they normally do this morning, but I was there early and maybe today's batch was still being made or simply not put out for display yet. I would rate Manston's Epicure range of sausages as the best mass-produced snags we can get, good God they cook up nicely and are very tasty.

Lots of choice in Patts now for your smallgoods, pies, snags and other delectables. Spoilt for choice really
Check out the nurnberger bratwurst at "Ding-a-Ling" on the Darkside if you're out that way. !90 bht with mash, kraut, crispy onions & gravy- can't go wrong.

Don't blame you. Long long ago, like 20 years ago, there weren't many options for things like pies and sausage rolls and places like Yorkies and Pats were the best we could get. Totally different ball-game these days though, I'm surprised anyone still buys that sort of product from Yorkies.

I'm only posting facts as usual, the sort of thing you fucking brittles normally want to change the subject on immediately or simply pretend you didn't read and hope nobody notices. Were you living in Pattaya or anywhere else in Thailand 20 years ago? Rhetorical question obviously, you'd have been tefling in some shithole and dreaming of a Thailand holiday on a shoestring budget somtime in the distant future if/when your Arab owners gave you a week off. But if you would have been, which you weren't, you'd know the best we could get was exactly the sort of thing Yorkies are still making today which wouldn't even make the top 10 of what we can get now in Pattaya.

Nothing cool about it, just a fact that anyone without their head up their own arse will agree with. Which would explain why you disagree.
