Does anyone here sell stuff on Ebay ?

I was just curious if anyone has sold some stuff on Ebay with success. What was it that you sold ?

I am cleaning some stuff up. I have these brand new rare Puma Ducati shoes. Purchased in 2012. Its hard to even find a picture of this model online. Anyway, $150 seems like a steal. Size US 13 but they fit like small 12's.

I sold on ebay and had a very successful business on Amazon. I know nothing about running shoes, but if you still live in Canada expect your listing to be ignored due to outrageous Canadian shipping costs. Also it would be better if you kept the original box.

I used to dropship stuff, but now due to logistics issues post covid that's no longer possible. Now my wife feeds me.

Anyway these sold for under 87 bucks but the seller is in US

I wouldn't buy 10 year old running shoes. I wouldn't wear them for running either. At 10 years old, the glue hardens and the sole will come apart easily from the top of the shoe. That said, the Puma Ducati shoes in the OP don't look like running shoes anyway. They look like casual sport-look type shoes. Ugly as fuck but somebody might like them. See what you can get for them.

    Thumbs up

I'll take one, if you can donate to Thailand.I promise I can send you a rare, possibly collectable wing mirror for a green bike.

I am sure if you contact your local vets home you'll find another taker, with left foot off, I'm sure you'll find many who'd like to walk in your shoes.

Marketing tip just listen from the gardens for people singing?

Notice even stumpies don't want to set off on the wrong foot like "Lefty O'Doul"

I agree with this. After some time, sole comes off from the shoe - have seen this happen to several of mine. For me, if the shoe is worth salvaging (like my Merrell hike shoes), then I bring them to a shoe repairman and have them sew the sole to the upper part. (Cost me 200 pesos to have them sewn)

I also don't know what the upper part of that Puma shoe is made of? If it's of faux leather, then it becomes brittle & "flakey" after some time. I've seen this happen to some of my cheaper shoes. (I buy lots of cheap shoes because for women, the styles change every year or so.)

However, I don't think those Puma shoes are too ugly. I think they're OK for a "smart casual" look. Not for running but good for a bar/ club or date night. I think for Backspin, it would be age-appropriate. I can see Dr. Mike (of YT fame) wearing those shoes & he'll be able to pull it off.

They are low top motorcycle shoes. They have the skid plate on the toe and the sole is built to fit pegs. Plus the Kevlar type material

eBay and PayPal fees need to be considered if you use eBay. Have always found CraigsList to be a better first option.

I agree with Nev. Unless stored properly, after 10 years the glue vulcanized and degraded and it has likely become brittle and the shoe will crack and fall apart if worn.

In my opinion, they are garbage and ready for the textile reclaim bin unless some collector might want to display them.

Nah, size 12.5US is rare. Size 13 not so much

They are used too. If you sold them on Ebay as new, they would get sent back. Any sale of shoe over $150 gets sent to Ebay first and an authenticator checks the shoes and places a hang tag on them if they pass.

To sell shoes new, they have to be deadstock. From trying them on you have left evidence through heel drag, toebox creasing, lint, innersole wear. Without even having photos of the inside, the lacing gives it away.

I have revised my estimation. I reckon they are worth $49 now.

Bogon expresses facts to you. You respond with an insult. What a moronic loser you are. Your chances of selling those shoes for $80 is about as real as you returning to Thailand again. Won't happen.
