" Join nine dots"
All nine dots must be joined (connected)

Think broken arrow and outside the box.
To solve the puzzle one must unburden one's self from conventional thinking and think outside the box.
If I do it in 3 can I sell back the 4th line?
No Einstein here, to be fair when I was presented with that puzzle the first day of phycology class ,back in college over forty years ago , I failed miserably. In fact no one in class solved it.
Indeed we all thought we were a bunch if Einsteins back then. For me it was a humbling experience.
The solution served as a life long lesson to me , I will say more about that after a solution is presented.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
There's a vid on YT if anyone can't stand the suspense.
I see the 9 dot answer, but I guess I'm not supposed to show it!
If you have solved it, by all means post it, if you have found the answer on the internet , it would be nice to keep it to yourself for a while and give a chance to those who might want to try and solve it themselves.
If you are all giving up, simply say "Uncle" and I will post the solution, but we will be driving to Chiang Mai from Khon Kaen the next four days , and I might noy have internet,
So if the "Uncle" cry id heard and anyone else wants to post the solution is also fine.
We seem to have lost interest in this puzzle, and I don't blame us, it cam be frustrating staring at it and not seeing the solution. It certainly was for me.
So for those who have not yet found the solution on Google, here it goes
The clue posted by several who knew the answer was , "You must think outside the box" and indeed that was the answer as you can see.
As I said , I was first exposed to this puzzle first day in a phycology class , the instructor was trying to make the point that our thinking is limited by mental constructs used every day to simplify the myriad of information we are constantly presented with.
Straight lines always start at one point and end at another, and everything is contained with in their pattern
Even though it was never said that we have to stay with in the pattern and that the lines had to change direction when it reached a point, we , including me, could not make the cognitive jump and made both of those cognitive mistakes.
In essence developed cognitive tunnel vision
A life long lesson that I learned from this exercise is that in propaganda, (a device to make you think true that which is not), though what you are being told might sound true, and to a certain degree it is, what you are not being told is much more important .
Try and think outside the box
A lesson that I also frequently forget
Ok ,
Back by popular demand, from no one.
Here is another one.
Please excuse the picture, I forgot my phone in the car and the wife went shopping, so I took the picture with my laptop being held upside down. LOL
anyway
The candles form a chalice that contains the lock. By moving two candles , try and rebuild the chalice so that the lock is outside the chalice.
If you don't have candles to recreate the puzzle, asparagus can also be used.

You could use 4 carrots and a sprout if you don't have asparagus or a lock.
NO!! absolutely not!!
Carrots do not go together with sprouts . Everyone knows that.
Unless oncourse you are English, in which case anything goes.
But I am sure if that was the case, baked beans would be used instead , and once the chalice was recreated and the baked beans were outside the chalice they will all fall on the floor and make a Royal mess.
I'm on a bus right now and have no veg to hand so I'm a bit stuck on this one.
Winner Winner!! Chicken dinner.
Though you lose points for your drawing skills ,but extra credit for the boobs
