It's a small town in Scotland (not a million miles from the last one).

Clue 2. I have been in that toffee shop. I went there just to buy a particular kind of toffee from that toffee shop.

I have a friend who would know exactly where this is, but he's offshore right now. I'm going for Broughty Ferry? I once bought toffee there.

Not Broughty Ferry, Mendip.

The toffee I bought is well known, dare I say famous? The toffee has the same name as the town.

I don't think it's as well known as the Quality Street toffee included in my Christmas tub from Korat Chef in Korat last week. But I'm going for Banff Toffee?

This kind of toffee is unusual. If you didn't know what it was and you ate it blindfolded, you probably wouldn't think it was toffee.
