I have my account at Bank of Bangkok.
I think now (I don’t use it much) you can request up to 25,000.00 baht each time you use the ATM.
However, like I have done before (when 10,000.00 baht was the max limit), you just stick the card in again and can request more money. IF you don’t have a cap on the amount, you’re able to pull each day.
There’s no cost to withdraw money at the ATM. However, there’s a yearly fee (of 300 baht) to have the card.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
thanks
I should have specified an overseas card
just trying to minimise the gouging at both ends of the transaction - eg 150 baht to the thai bank and 8 SGD from HSBC each withdrawal - so if I can take 50k at a time it is better than 25k twice
Charles Schwab, and I would guess some other banks, have checking accounts that don’t charge for foreign ATM withdrawals AND refund any charges by the foreign banks.
If you are not already here in Thailand, that is.
I am back in thailand after 3 years away so just trying to find out if the banks have modernised in that time
previously I would use a bangkok bank ATM and get 25k at a time
I was wondering now if they had updated the ATMs to give 40 notes at a time
I’ve not a clue about that. The most cash I take out is 10,000 baht. Anything over I use the same Bangkok Bank card as Landreth has or prompt pay.
^SCB the same
Not sure if it's changed, but I used to go into a Thai bank and get a cash advance on a foreign credit card. It was a better exchange rate than changing cash, and the limit was the credit cards limit. I would then go online and transfer money from my foreign bank account to pay off the credit card, so I wouldn't incur interest charges.

It was cheaper than wiring money from a foreign account into a Thai one as well.
I believe most banks charge 220 baht per withdrawal. Krungsri allows 30k withdrawals. It is certainly worth seeing if any banks you use refund the Thai charges
I'm a couple of years out of date, but I'd recommend Krungsri as their banking app was by far the best among the ones I tried. Also, I think you can ask the bank to set a daily withdrawal limit up to 100K per day.
My wife regularly draws cash at a local Sakokn Nakhom ATM from an Australian bank savings account (standard Thai woman!!!), but she checks the exchange rate of 3 banks in town before deciding where, as their rates often seem to vary, even from day to day, and not always following on-line rates. I think Krungthai bank shows the exchange rate current on the ATM and pay out baht prior to completing the withdrawal which is really handy, while it is a bit less visible at BKK and others, and there also seem to be different max withdrawal amounts from bank to bank.
"Looking for a cold beer to put out the chilli!"
From memory, the Thai ATM gives the cash first and spits out the card second, the opposite of what I'm used to in the West.
So, just a heads up not to leave your card in the slot.
Just make sure you pay it in full or they will gouge you like nobody’s business!
