^^ He's right, you should have flown Dave in for this one
^ if you go uprate your feed to three phase get Balders on speed dial.
Is it me or are there a lot of argumentative Aussies on here lately - all F'ing and blinding, a Brit can't post without some Bogan or faux wannabe Aussie climbing on his back.
^^^^^^Top electrical bodging!
I got to work on my mower cord replacement - measured out to match in racy red
Luckily still have some paracord leftover from my SAS days
Jobs a good'un
Took a photo of the fuel line I bodgily fixed 1 year ago with silicon just to show off in the thread that my bodge is holding up
But my pride was punctured to find that the fuel line had sprung a new leak at the other end
Clean it up with soap for good bodge adhesion
Then to take my bodginess to new levels I dispensed with the roofing silicon and went with bathroom white silicon
Finally got back out in my sock-gaiters only to have to effect a field repair when my over dangly cord got snapped somehow by getting tangled in the blades. Lost the handle so had to make a paracord loop
Maybe I need a bigger mower
Anyone got a bodge for a rattly passenger dashboard? glove compartment already checked and decluttered with 10 tonnes of crud removed.
Electrical plugs can be used.
The sheep could be his Greatest Of All Time.
Curry.
Not lover.
Hopefully.
One man's bodge is another man's good enough.
I don't think you are understanding the theme of the thread Shu!
My bodginess confidence was boosted by the year long success of my roofing silicone bodge on the upper tube section so I thought I would really push my luck with the lower section!
I drain the fuel after each mow which is good practice anyway but essential when you are sailing close to the wind with a double fuel line bodge
Good to see the Dancer has finally busted out of the monkeyhouse after being banged up for a decent stretch
Looks like you have not sorted yourself out with an Avatar yet..... LatinDancer II - The Way of Porage

The bodge to end all bodges.
Edith's aunt was back around, so took another look while they were nattering.
Seemed to be actually emanating from the rear view mirror. Which has a larger clip on mirror with rear view camera screen attached over the OEM mirror.
I immediately got to work sourcing some sort of cushion between the two.
There was a box of paper-ish face masks on the back seat, so got to work, folding two paper face masks carefully and placing them on the left and right side between the two rear view mirrors to form a perfect cushion of silence.
'dashboard' rattle fixed, refusing to say how, and I am now known as Super Ed within the greater family.
Which, to be honest, I'm absolutely comfortable with.
^ a simple job for paper face mask + pritt-stick + Edmond.
Glue might have worked come to think of it.
I pulled a couple of bikes out of the graveyard this week.
Monday I pulled out the YZ250F, cleaned her up and went for a rip.
Might have to keep an eye on this.
Yesterday being V-Day, My love and devotion went to the NSR150RR. She had been neglected for a while.
She scrubbed up pretty well, but I thought I’d stripped the thread on the rim where it accommodates the air valve.
Removed the wheel and took it down to my garage guy who simply removed the tire and refitted the backing screw that was loose inside. FFS.
Today I set about putting it all back together, what a cnt of a job that was to do alone.
Got there after a few buckets of sweat and whenever I tighten the back wheel it goes real stiff to turn. Loosen it off and it’s ok again. Will consult a friend tomorrow but I’m pretty sure it’s just cos the chain’s too tight. Otherwise I’m surprised I didn’t mangle the wheel bearing.
fired her up after about 15 kicks and she’s still pissing fuel everywhere so fairings off tomorrow to confirm it’s coming from the carbies.
I fkn hate carburetors.
Lang may yer lum reek...
Nice wee project bike.
Was looking at picking up the feisty lil' SP version with the single swingarm a few years ago, but then decided it really isn't a good idea to be going 200kph on something that weighs 50kg and has been bodged together by yours truly.
