This is all you're getting. I honestly don't think that you could handle the full on pictures after debridement. It was pretty horrific.

Yeah... debridement a week later...

I've heard it said that you should always put on clean underwear every morning in case you get hit by a bus and end up in A&E. Well, I would extend that advice to giving your feet a good clean once in a while! You never know how the day will pan out.



After the op I came out with the old classic 'Doc, will I still be able to play football?'

He said, 'not really, but have you considered Man Utd?'

I learned my lesson after reading Dill's posts about a rusty trombone.

I thought debridement would have been Yogi being de-bollocked.

Gotta say that I'm not really seeing the humor here.

I've spent five bastard weeks having a shower with a plastic bag tied around my right foot.



And if I drop the soap, that's it, there's nothing I can do about it without risking a major slippage and a broken arm.

I'll pick that up later when the floor's dry.



I guess the only good thing to come out of this is that thanks to thrice weekly wound cleaning by some lovey nurses, my right foot has never been cleaner. I asked them to spruce up my left foot to match, but they're having none of it.
