Ho ho . yep definately a bit of sipsip going on by the finnsnow geezer. As for the Brazilian bird getting sexualy harassed on the subcontinent. That's just standard with those sexualy frustrated modern day cavemen . They get tired of sexualy harassing there own self. He'll. they were constantly trying to harass me with a view to giving BLD one up the blurter. Nasty fookers
Right! I've made my decision! My lungs are getting rapidly worse in this freezing Turkish weather - I had to cancel 2 days of online classes because I felt so shit. I've booked my flight next Friday to move to another, warmer location, hopefully for good (I've heard that before!!)
But where is it!
I'm not saying After I arrive, I'll post some photos and see if you can guess....
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
Jeez Simon, you're escaping Turkey quicker than that bloke from Midnight Express.
^ he's not out yet and i think if they find the bit of Candy he's been jetting around with he may find himself in a scene or two from midnight express
I am going to refrain from being negative. You have a typical Mediterranean climate there. I saw today it ranged from 9-19. Think of the lovely spring and summer you will have. But are one of a kind Simon.
I'm very happy with the weather, general climate and lifestyle here in Turkey. Absolutely no problem!
But my lungs are not happy. I moved to Thailand 20 years ago on doctor's orders because of my lung illness - too many bouts of pneumonia in the UK and expensive stays in Bumrungrad on my return.
I had foolishly thought that because of my regular exercise, I would have no problem in the Turkish winter. But that was a mistaken assumption and I need to rapidly resolve the problem before I am unable to work. I will be at a new and warmer location by the end of next week...
Good luck with your relocation.
Angles City/Clark would be my recommendation if you could get into the country. I have a friend that's just retired in Thailand moving their ASAP. He's an online teacher as well.
It sucks when you have to cancel classes. I lost about 14 due to the typhoon. Having said that, that's the first time I've had to cancel classes due to typhoon damage.
"I was a good student. I comprehend very well, OK, better than I think almost anybody," - President Trump comparing his legal knowledge to a Federal judge.
It's Cold Turkey for Simon.
Hmmm....so the new digs will be a place that's "open", warm, not too expensive with opportunity to meet ladies that are friendly, along with good internet.
So you're moving back to Thailand?
Whoosh very apt
The issue may not here he wants but where he can actually get to in the pandemic
C Rica, Pemba Island
Dear Simon we all wish you well and your unique Candy Crush and Ham salads do suggest you research weather first.
You dont need a 3 year course on Bill Berrys excellent Ocean Master yachtsman certs to own a yacht.
Mine was actaully forbidden to leave the Marina b(due to some previous owners debts, which resulted in a very cheap boat with minimal harbour dues in that era. It wasn't much than my 3 start hotel digs yet surprising how many ladies who would have have declined a quick visit to a hotel room were willing to examioe a skipper's rigging. You wlll need at least one working bilge pump unless you are really keen on bailouts! Tho all that practice pumping up Candy you may have teh muscle tone for DIY handjob. I'd stick to under 7.5m now about all I could manage alone with low tech. It's not the Ocean transits that cost it's scratching te super yachts entering locks etc. Trad wood boats in Udang Pajang Sulawes for a song.
I'd be doing the digital nomad visa on Malta.
Canaries, Azores or Ascension?
^^^^^ true, so it's not Malta
It would be nice to add a list of potential countries as a poll in this thread, but I have zero idea how to do a poll on TD...
Do I need to start a new thread to post a poll?
I'm going for Portugal. Somewhere in the south.
Canary Islands may be worth a look. La Palma is apparently digging out from the ash from the recent volcanic eruption, but the other islands seem to be alright.
Azores
Canary Islands/Madeira
Camel-shagging countries - mainland Africa
Iffy places - Iran/Afghanistan etc
Darkie place - Kenya
Darkie Frogs - Reunion Island
Mauritius Island
Wobbly heads - Sri Lanka
Bangladesh
Thailand
Malaysia
Cambodia
Vietnam
Cyclone Corner - Philippines
Not a poll, because I don't know how to configure this. Here is a list of countries, and one of these is where I will fly to next Friday.
I have discounted EU, because even the most southerly location is still too chilly for me in Winter. Forget the Americas and Australia/Oceania - all too far.
In a good new year spirit, I have added my own totally non-woke, racist comment for some countries, but I ran out of ideas for all of them.... please feel free to add your own. A comment by me against a country does not exclude it from my choice of a potential destination.
One of these countries is my new destination, but which one?
To give you a clue, I made my choice based on general climate, ease of long-term visa, minimal financial requirements for visa, fast internet, choice of tasty food, lowish cost of living, access to beaches, minimal chance of natural disasters, and availability of low-class hookers, (not in any particular order).
Portugal and Spain are no longer zero requirements for English , Welsh , Scots or those from N Irleend without Irish EU passports.\
It is still possible, reading Simon's situaon his issue ay not be WPs of DLs ratehr gatting health insurance as he ages with pre exsting. The Great thing about 3rd world option to self insure.
I've spent half my life being woken by a Muezzin so Morocco Tunisia not for me and like Portugal not much warmer than S Turkey.
, others esp the deaf may differ.
I hope Simon doesn't join so many members renting the rear on Beach Rd Pattaya on Indian happy hour.
He could becoma a Tico a Panama Twat or assuming he can organze the funds a Lusaka lotus eater, Gaberone has a nice climate Luanda too , but was recentlly teh most expensve expat city in the world if you don't live in a shack with Nambians migrants.
I'm guessing Malta or Marrakech where shirtlifting de rigeur and hams tolerated.
