    Do you hold grudges?

Personally speaking, apart from perhaps one example I can think of, I don't. Within a couple of weeks, especially if a pint's involved, apologies are said and we're back speaking again with the spat consigned to the past. I just don't have it in me to hold on to such resentment and the old adage about life being too short certainly rings true.

Even on here, which shouldn't be taken seriously anyway, I'll call someone a wanker one week and then green them the next. Although there's more emphasis on the wanker if they happen to have a propensity for sky blue and/or don't worship at the altar of OLEgend.

I most certainly don't. If I did, I would be a serial killer! This is one problem I have with many females of the species- they just simmer.

This is not a yes or no question.
it also has an age factor as i approach fiddy.

there's certain things i probably could never forgive, even though i have a much deeper understanding of why people did what they did. but doesnt stop them being a dickhead.
is it a burning need for revenge ? no.
if i had the opportunity for a drive by? maybe.

but generally, no. im not that interested in people.

on a forum. most def no. though there are certain posters from the old ajarn days i think are bellend automatically, thankfully they are not the actice posters we enjoy daily

ive forgiven gary neville, but still think van persie is a prick if that is any help
    we won it at wemberlee
we on it in gay paree...

...the inverse has a certain ring to it, too: life is too short to put up with persistently annoying folks...

Absolutely not!!. I always laugh. If the question is directed at forum folks, how can anyone hold a grudge on an anonymous platform.

You often hear this stuff from families and then, should peace not be made before someone shuffles off this mortal coil, the regrets inevitably follow...

I think if you just hang on to perpetual grudges, it consumes you from the inside. The angry young man becomes the bitter old man. Why- is that what life is about?

Grudges, like overt nationalism, is for simpletons and betas.

Especially online. Christ, online there's been a campaign of being called a pedo, my kid's been attacked, her mother, my partners, all sorts of funny lies and accusations, I was even called a moderator at one stage 555

    Pretty funny really.

Wait until they dox your kids location and/or make off-forum threats of telling the authorities that you're a pedo etc.

You'll get a real kick outta that hilarity!

If I was a serial killer my name would be "The Suspense" so my victims would be like "Oh no, The Suspense is killing me!" and then we'd both laugh right before I kill them.

    And to answer the OP...

Yes, like a muthafucka, especially against people who don't hold grudges or find The Suspense joke funny.

Do you think that might be associated with the Maori in you antie? Likable folk (except when they chuck you out of nightclubs) but they do seem to hang on to grudges, and take feuds quite seriously.

Holding grudges is like having malignant cancer, eats you up inside.

You seem to bring casual racism into it quite, err, casually.

    Is that a Brit/Aussie thing?

I shan't hold it against you.

It's not racism at all pal, just observation- admittedly from limited experience. It was a genuine question. Like I said, I have in the main found Maori to be likable folk. And fortunately, not yet encountered one with a grudge against me.

Or in your world view, are we all exactly the same and to surmise or opine any differently is profoundly racist? In which case, carry a grudge!

One guy found my Facebook and sent me a picture of him calling my place of work. Big boss didn't tell me what was said but I'm sure it was investigated.

Luckily I can also Google so found his accounts and sent him the Aussie cyber laws he was breaking (he was living in Australia). He deleted all his accounts after that.

Pretty pathetic what can go on in these forums innit? I guess some people just carry petty grudges, and it chews them up. Sure wouldn't wanna be like them though, surely.
