Woman Stuck With $3,100 Blind Date Dinner Bill After Bringing 23 Family Members

Next time your Thai bird asks if she can bring a "fren"...

A man was left with an enormous bill when his blind date brought 23 members of her family with her to test his generosity.

However, her rather bizarre tactic well and truly backfired (unsurprisingly) when her date known as Mr. Lui, 29, did a runner.

The rather ambitious singleton was then left to foot the bill herself, and at a cool $3,100 we’re sure she was less than pleased.
The couple’s date took place at a restaurant in eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang according to local paper Taizhou Evening News.

According to the publication it had been Mr. Lui’s mom who had set up the meeting after becoming concerned about his lack of dating life.
In a hope to impress his date, Mr. Lui had agreed to pay for the meal, not realizing that her entire extended family would be joining them.

The woman then explained to local media that she had wanted to test her date’s generosity before committing to a relationship.
While Mr. Lui was happy to pay for a small portion of the meal, he insisted that the woman and her family should be paying for their share – completely understandably.

Taizhou a funny burg, replca Eiffel Tower, went to factory opening there about 30 years ago
Lovely folks got utterly hammered on Baijiu (think LaoKhao and a crate of Tsingtao for each man before the effing banquet)

As you know liquor dehydrates and in my foolish youth quaffed teh excellent French wines with dnner

I made it to the rooms, woke up with that never agin " hangover but back on teh Ale with Lunch.

My colleague (unamed to avoid shame) a senior Reuters and Econmist Anaylst fell asleep pissed in the grounds of our at our "4 star Motel"

The security guard sat all night watching over him,and gave him blankets as we were "special foreign "experts/guests"

The hostesses were tastier than the buffet, but equally aged.

As for the voracious tart she met her match

In existentialism it is a category error , you are mistaking me for someone who gives a f u c k about a monger hunger for correction.

Eighty thousand moans must be taking the strain.

What is the point of you , me , Man Utd, transubstantiation, premature correcton or ejaculation?

Without conflatng with ontological reductionism, ask yourself an easy one first, the sound of one mod clapping, what is the point of a pencil?

Istigkeit is clearly explained as is Connect four so much more satisfying than correct four.

Kant achieves a synthesis between rationalist and empiricist traditions. Rationalism, it takes up the idea that pure reason is capable of important knowledge, and empiricism, he admits the idea that knowledge comes primarily from the experience.

Are thou experienced? Luckily you are not beyond hope, but many a bright lad once jilted become butter and churned

NPD the constant desire to correct others often leads to detachment , lonlines for obvious reasons

Well if they ALSO need to be the center of attention it could be a symptom of Narcissistic Personality Disorder…a disorder which also includes.

    1. Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from Mods
    2. Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
    3. Self-perception of being unique, superior, and associated with high-status people like Cy and UK
    4. Needing continual admiration from others
    5. Sense of yearning to special treatment and to obedience from others, punters syndrome
    6. Exploitative of others to achieve greenery
    7. Unwilling to freely empathize with the feelings, wishes, and needs of other people
    8. Intensely envious of others, LSS lesser sausage syndrome
    9. Pompous and arrogant demeanor, constantly correcting others
    10. Undermines institutions and other authorities or strives to become the “authority” to become Powerful.
    11. Beware that rare combo of Wally and Bully A Wooly

Nil desperandum I am sure you are an absolute gentleman, raconteur in real life and just takepiss here.I sent you a green recently as part of your 5 a day

I would have toured the wine and whisky list and ate my fill from the crustaceans menu before going to the toilet and taking my jacket with me.

Cute story although something tells me that the guy will somehow found to be legally responsible for the bill. He probably would have made the reservation.

Too late . . . and who knows what China's laws are relating to a non-contractual 'agreement'.
