Thread: Anyone else like Fall/Autumn?

A sunny evening by the local lake in Bavaria ...





...and early morning at Pitville park, Cheltenham on Monday...









For some reason or other, I haven't visited Pitville Park since I was a teenager and it brought back many memories. I used to row my Mum and sisters around the lake on lazy Sunday afternoons before having a picnic. I was there when the swimming pool first opened and went swimming almost every week-end. That was half a century or so ago, and although I've seen my Dad in Cheltenham many times since, we never go to Pitville Park. My Dad was never with us when we visited and it's memories of my Mum and sisters not of him. Anyway, it was good to see it has barely changed in all this time.

I'd forgotten about the narrow underpass to the other side of the park, my sisters would never pass through it without me leading the way...
