Well you can’t out exercise a bad diet. It’s mainly what you are consuming that has piled on the beef.

Yeah, and when one gets older, a single bag of corn chips can spell disaster! When I was young, I could drink beer and eat anything but this age thing is a different story.

Only 2 days left for Slenderman 2021...

I stopped eating breakfast for September and have dropped from 76kg to 71.4 and that is while holding a 6.9 inch mobile phone weighing 235 grams

Slender September Fat Camp: Biggest Loser Wins-img_20210928_211221crop-jpg

That takes my 1.78m BMI down from a comfortable 24 to a biafran 22

It is nice not eating breakfast because then you are starving hungry later and and enjoy your food more.

Hunger is an experience in itself that can be appreciated and observed simply as an appearance in consciousness

That makes sense to me since women are generally lighter than men for a given height

So how come when I google up BMI charts they don't have a female one and a male one with gender-specific healthy ranges?

If they did, nowadays they'd need to account for transgenders and girlies who chose to be boys would be able to pat themselves on the back for being sylph like, except if they are massive dykes with shaved heads and no cock.

Last day and I'm weighing at 86.7kg from an initial 86kg and a mid-month low of 84.5kg.

So I'm up .7kg, which is fine as I've bulked up and lost a bit of fat, and what's left seems to be more in proportion now.

I'm gonna keep this up through October.

My broken toe got better so I got out on the mountain bike, only to get a flat tyre. I put it to the shop for a tubliss system and lost over a week with that. I got out on my first enduro ride with my new MX and looking forward to more of the same. That shit's hard work. Most of all though, I'm gonna stick with the weights cos it's working. I started out pretty light and now have my bar pretty much maxed out for the weights set I have.

    Someone say Sober October?

I've lost 2kg somehow. I think because the football pitches opened up again and by the time i get back it's too late to order a big Mac.

Having got off to a great start, I did not sustain my losses, and this morning was 84.6kg a 2.1kg loss for the month.

I have learned a couple of things,
1 losing weight is definitely harder as you get older.
2 Looper is a real skinny cvnt and probably needs the pie.

Weighing in at 90kg my heaviest was 98kg a few years back when I was a gym junkie.

A miserable 87.5 kg (from 88.2 kg). I kind of blew it mid month when I was pressured into coming off the diet pre and post second vaccination. Difficult to get going again. However, the daily rowing sessions have resulted in an increase of bulk on my upper arms and shoulders, as well as noticeable tautness everywhere else so at least something has worked. No excuses for October, so I'll be joining Dirk in getting serious.

So how’s that Decathlon rowing machine, PAG?

I had hoped to get a concept2 on Baht and Sold, but it was sold before I got back to CM.

28K second hand, which is pretty reasonable.

It's excellent, far better than any rowing machines that I've used in gyms over the years. Very smooth action which helps, and the way that I've got it set up outside in front of a TV which mirrors the app from my phone whilst playing music from my library works well. Recommended.

Just finished my morning session (just after 8 a.m. sky dark with rain with thunder and lightning all around).

    ^^Good stuff.

Does the readout work on batteries or do you have to plug it in?

Plug in, and with Bluetooth. The red thing on top of the screen is an elasticated catch which will hold your mobile in place (you can see the portrait/llandscape image below it).
