Tarantula lair(?) I have quite a few in my garden. Currently the spider isn't in. Easy to know being as it will spin a silk cover/lid to prevent creatures wanting to eat it from entering. Usually a Tarantula Wasp.

This is one of the spiders and by all accounts it's a Tarantula.

My camera is a Nikon A1000 Coolpix which is a low end camera but very capable. I just held a filter used for viewing eclipse events in front of the lens by hand. It is just a dark plastic filter on a cardboard frame and then stopped the camera down 3 F stops as I zoomed in. So no exotic camera equipment.
