You don't see the expensive Westpac chopper patrol so often these days. They are usually using cheaper drones for drowning tourist patrols

    Fantastic weather.

Well done. I went to bed for the day with a fistful of painkillers and a bottle of Black Label after doing one of mine with laughing gas included.

It wasn't actually a really bad day now that I think of it.

^Yeah that was a bit gory wasn't it. Sorry about that. I will blame it on the anaesthetic affecting my better judgement.

^That is a new one. I like it. I have not even heard of that one before and I have read a lot about medieval torture.

I just went to the Bunya mountains in Australia, which are 1,000 metres high and have a lot of very big pine trees which produce huge nuts in clusters. Individual nuts are somewhat like the pine nuts you can buy in delicatessen, but not so tasty, and much larger, being almost 2 inches long. Baked in an oven or roasted on a fire, they have quite a potato-like taste and are rather addictive on a cool night.

Bloody big trees. There was one about a quarter bigger in diameter than this one, too.

The following are not my photos but as it is past the end of the nut season, I could not take any photos, so here are a few off the net. You really don't want one of these to fall on you...they are bloody heavy.

The mountains also had a number of rather magical small waterfalls but my photos made them look rather ordinary, so I have not included them. Being there was better than any photo.

For my above contribution, Witless Willy sent me a red with the same idiotic comment he made to an equally innocuous post I made a few days ago.

So does he have autism, ADHD, Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, or what ?

Or perhaps narcissism like his mate Ant ? I'll go along with the last.

Happy, Willy ? Now the thread's about you... for the moment, anyway.

    Maybe this will help ?
