Some great pictures, as ever, on these last couple of pages and I'm sure you must be very proud of the boys, David.
I would never have thought of combining a Big Mac with an orange juice though, Looper.
Surely it's Coca Cola/Pepsi all the way? :)

Loving the Ozzie pics chaps!
Makes me want to go back there.
^ Why did you ever leave mate?
^ I'm just happy that my fathers family migrated to Australia from Kent.
Although quite expensive now I believe OZ is one of the best countries to live in.
My 2 daughters are presently applying for their Australian passports with the view of relocating there.
Drop bear?
Owing to a rare breakdown in communications in the Mendip household we are a 'two Advent Calendar' family this year.
I'm allowed some of the rubbish treats from the top one.

Although it's just not the same having to keep them in the fridge. Kind of spoils it.
We also don't have any xmas lights yet either because I was electrocuted when I plugged last year's in and don't dare try again just yet (with new ones)

Looks like a possum. By strange coicidence when I was driving home there was a possum sitting upright just to the right of the line as I was driving along the road. A car coming the other way didn't slow down or even swerve even though it was easy to see and knocked it like a skittle. I pulled a u-ey and went back, but somebody behind me had already stopped. Mum possum was dying and baby possum was left without a mum. The lady who stopped took baby to possum hospital. Wish I had got the rego of the coont coming the other way.
Took my annoyance out today on some logs with my petrol screaming ripper

You can make out Mars just above the moon.
Attachment 95721
This engorged cumulus was popping off lighting flashes as a dramatic counterpoint.
Attachment 95722
I was trying in vain to capture it when a Seth Efrican lady came up and tapped me on the shoulder and said she had got 2 pics of the lightning popping with me in the photo she could send me if I wanted. So I got her phone number as a free bonus.
Attachment 95723
My legs look unnaturally pasty and pallid but I am blaming the lady's colour balance.

Then walking back to the car the biggest shooting star ever bombed towards the horizon to the West. One of those rare ones that fragments into a shower as it comes down. A night of mysterious omens.
My Tropical Rhododendron Detector [TM] indicates that it is Lemon Bay [Ao Manao - อ่าวมะนาว].

Bugger.
Just went out for a 10 minute stroll for 'fresh air' with E n E, and lazily told Edwina 'Look at Saturn just above the moon'.
Little E: I think that's Mars, Papaa.
And there's Betelgeuse in Orion next to them.
That's no breakfast and Little Einsteins for her in the morning. :)
