Rendang (on the right) is a tasty Indo dish which SS makes with Star Anise to add an exotic oriental twist to the galangal and ginger. Not as colourful as my Tandoori which was the lady's menu selection on the left.

That's the Zaisan monument, built to say thanks to the Russians for fighting alongside the Mongolians to keep the Nazis out. I plan on doing a photo series of UB's Soviet past in a couple of weeks. Sadly this coming weekend I have a work social to attend. I'd rather be out and about- the vodka heavy work events are fun the first couple of times, but tedious thereafter.
