That is your very sick niece. Kind of strange the way you framed it.

^^^ Well, I wasn't trying to make a work of art, more a very sobering photo. That is the widest part of her upper arm, 18 years old I've seen fatter people in concentration camp photos (honest).

The good news is that despite resembling a (non-walking) living skeleton, she is actually on the mend. 26.6 Kg weight today, and maybe another 14 Kg to go before I take my leave of her. She never liked me at the best of times, so will hate the exercise etc routine that I have planned out for her...

Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile

28.1 kg today, thanks to lots of ice cream! I have found that she is more keen to eat food if she sees me eating it. Therefore my recent diet has been scuppered for a while!!

A long time ago, my grandmother who was similarly bereft wight wise, was given a prescription for one bottle of Guinness per day, to help her to gain weight, and improve her iron deficiency. It wasn’t paid for by the NHS but by my late father.

When my English wife gave birth in a hospital in Antwerp some 25 years ago, she was given a bottle of Guinness every day!

My gran referred to it as her prescription medication. I believe it was a simple recommendation from her GP. She was too doolally to have any argument over it.

That seems far more reliable than your previous, ridiculous tale.

Three Teslas in a row. You don't see that in Korat.

All parked up outside Jong's place as well. She must be doing OK.

That photo got me curious so had a google.

The statistic only shows the electric cars that are registered per December 31 in the respective year in Norway. It includes both passenger cars and vans. In 2020 more than 70 percent of all cars sold in Norway were electric ones. Equally important is the number of newly registered electric cars or in other words, car sales for a year. Diesel accounted for only about nine percent of newly registered cars in 2020.

Shurely a bird can simply albatross the road without the need for terrible puns.
