    Rain

It's been raining in the UK and it's coming this way.

Thunder and lightshow right now and the pouring started this very minute.

    Not up north!

Still sunny and dry although low twenties instead of low thirties which is a welcome relief.

Might be able to finish my mancave now

    Ok
I didn't get 60, but the pond got a well needed filling and the air is fresh.

More to come unless the brits want it all.

This last week we've had, in total, 180 mm. I check the rain gauge every other day:

How to Build a Rain Gauge: 15 Steps (with Pictures) - wikiHow

Useful between October and May, not so much in the rest of the year.

Generally the rain starts between midday and 4 o'clock and lasts an hour or so.

It was more the wind. Some neighbours lost tin roof sheets. Our window shutters needed closing immediately, or they would have been gone.
