    Looks great.

    Lamma?

That's my guess as it's the only island I've been to there, except Hong Kong obviously.

A fair guess, it would be tricky if you didn't know it. It is HK Island, Redhill Peninsula, looking across Tai Tam Harbour towards Shek-O country park.

My balcony in BKK at the Grande Centre point 28th floor. Lived there a year 2018/2019. The balcony wrapped the corner. Loved sitting out there and watched the traffic on wireless road at night sipping a pre flight drink before heading out for dinner

It comes at a price! A lot more dosh than I shall ever see.

A bit further on round the island and you get to Shek O, where old money and 'tycoons' (always 'tycoons' in the media) have their houses. Even when I become super rich, in the not too distant future, I'll not be able to buy a place out there. As for joining Shek O Country Club, that too is never going to happen.

I was attending a trade show at the airport (chep lap kok) and stayed in Lantau by the beach . . . got up in the morning to go for a walk on the beach . . . water buffalo being herded along the water. (must find photos)

Bizarre Hong Kong . . . two years in HK and never saw one before, though I lived in Wan Chai. balcony - yes. Tiny. No pics.

Is that the beach where people take BBQs and there are a few bars nearby too if you wanna carry on? I think I've been there with my mate, but I've got no real idea where he takes me- I just follow!

Maybe Shek O beach? Shek O village is behind the beach with a couple of small popular places for a beverage. This pic was my last visit there, a mucky day in April '19.

Maybe third time lucky? I post a pic, I can see it, I can change the size, it isn't there when I post. Go back, edit, repeat, still not there. This time:

A view not really from my balcony (since a balcony has no meaning in Thailand)

but from my captain bridge at the sedimentation basin the pool thanks to it for its clear water...

It'll need to be long when his Chinese neighbour builds his dam.

Jetty...did someone mention a jetty project?. I will bring the beer and a few chairs. Jobs like that always require a foreman.

Jobs like that require a team, will happily lend an eagle eye and a strong elbow. Will bring a malt for after the beers.

^ ...and I'll be the bloke standing at the back telling you how you're doing it all wrong, even though I don't have a clue about building jetties.

Took this pic today, (Getting prepared to start planting.)
The largest mountain is the feeder (head) for all the rain water that supplies this district, then passes into the Ping river, then into the Chao Phraya river.
