I never married a western woman - what did I miss?

As I eek past middle age into my 50's - and having landed here in the my late 20's - one experience I never had was marrying a western woman.

I was wondering what I have missed out on. I am on marriage 2 here - so I know the "joys" of marriage with Thai women.

So - what did I miss?

Misery at a level unfathomable to those who have not endured it.

^^ Are you likely to have a late life crisis and go fishing for a white wrinkly in the west?

Are you talking Caucasian Western woman or a "Western" raised woman? I was married 20 + years to a born and raised California Filipino woman. No complaints really. We split as friends and she went her way and I went mine. In the end IMHO, women are women and all relationships are a work in progress.

That said, marrying a Thai woman does have its challenges. Would I do that again...Nope.

Both of my future ex-wives were Asian- HK & Thai. If I marry a westerner, might have to take out a bank loan for divorce funding.

She went to the early Star Wars movies. She cried when she first saw ET, we listen to tons of old punk rock and Seattle music. She is a chef and cooks amazing food even if she has banned me from posting her food here in an attempt to get me to cook while she is at work. No way I would trade her for a breeder who can not even speak English.

No! Well she does. But the pics are all my food. She gets home late and I am not allowed to post her stuff. She fell asleep three hours ago. Her snore is music to my ears. I love her so much.

    When it's good it's good.

    When it's bad its horrendous.

I wouldn't recommend going down that road in your 50's.

The headache and divorce settlement will probably give you a stroke.

Fortunately, 'native speaker' or 'breeder who can not even speak English' are not the only options.

You could never imagine. Your wife most likely does not speak your native language. My lady came home and brought me half a bottle of fernet branca. We had a couple of shots together, and then she passed out. Now I have my good eye closed.

Finally, we agree on something. Tax I dislike you on many levels but you are a human even if you do not act like it here most of the time.

Holy shit, a normal night on the weekend is getting the needles out. JHC, mate.

I would bet 100% of me cash this gets mod wiped to preserve Timmy's good name, much like they do with that twat Ant when he's on the receiving end, its like they are rejects from auditions on "One flew over the cuckoos nest".
