    I found it funny too

When I hear myself laughing driving home from work, I get a WTF moment

The Finnish guy is naturally funnier that the Norwegian.

If one could listen without the studio audience muppets then mildly might even be stretching it. hadt,dt,dt,dt,dt.

It wasn't exactly Jim Jefferies, but it was different. Not all comedy has to be rip-roaringly funny.

^ Agreed but by definition it should be funny. A Norwegian guy droning on and on about ??? Is not.

A light-hearted look at foreigners with accents and the lives of introverts.

Don't tell me you've never met either?

...I've met both: neither group provided a lot of humor, knee-slapping or otherwise...this guy's best audience is gathered at a cocktail event in somebody's living room after everyone's had a few drinks...a few chuckles before the conversation turns to the time...

If you've met both then you'd see that the performance was a piss-take of a stereotype. An example of self-deprecating humour that many Americans don't understand. And you're right that it's not prime-time comedy hour, it's light comedy. It's not great, but it's not bad.

^^This rather mediocre comedian seems to mean quite a lot to you.

Anyone perusing the 'amusing pics' thread might get a glimpse at why.

    ^^

Understanding humour takes an intelligent brain, I totally understand why an American and the most boring poster on the internet wouldn't get it. But hey, there's plenty of slapstick on Thai TV, so you're more than catered for.

    Errrr... No.
I'm fully aware Boomers and Americans have a limited range of what they consider funny. Step outside the boundaries of 70's British smut and American 80's level sitcom with laugh track machines and you will be shocked.

You need a fake laughter backdrop for most of our irony denuded cousins to get most satire.
