Not pissed off, just pushing back against the do-gooder nonsense of you must self improve during a pandemic that some people just managed to survive. But if you think some learning how to knit and conjugate verbs in Swahili is an achievement during COVID then more power to you!
Warning: Be cautious if you are a fragile pink

    You're welcome.

All of my work had to be done remotely, so becoming proficient in the various platforms was a necessity.

It's after noon here so you can allow yourself a beer.

It isn't a good do'er thing if you learn a new skill or whatever.... It sounds like jealousy to me. Not sure what I ever did to get KW so pissed off all the time.

She learned that before any Covid lockdown, so doesn’t count for this thread.

Or just have the time to hone those skills (and produce worthwhile .ppts) . . . a few weeks ago I gave a web-based gig for an MNC that spanned most time-zones, which was also the point of the exercise

I suppose in a manner of speaking I have, most of it has centered around trying to maintain something that resembles a normal social like while locked down. I've been hosting zoom coffee meeting and zoom happy hours for locals and other expats who are interested. Last nights went on for 4 hours, which was a lot longer than I thought it would last. Mindfulness I guess, there's shit I can't control and I am not going to let it get me down- frustrated, I sometimes feel that, but not actually depressed for days at a time.

Inevitably due to teaching online I have become more skilled and using technology.
