Thread: Sites Similar To Netflix

I have Amazon Prime - don't rate it much - thanks for the reminder - just cancelled
Apple - good for movies, not much on Apple+ (has series etc)
HBO Go Asia is pretty decent IMO - cheap - a keeper
Never used Hulu - had trouble installing their app

I think Netflix is by far the best.
For on demand - I think Google Play is the best - I always go to Netflix firs, then look at Apple & Google Play if I am looking for something. Google Play has loads that apple doesn't.

There are a ton of android apps and Kodi addons that play everything from Netflix, Apple, Hulu, Prime, etc. and have a ton of the non-streaming stuff as well. It's all free.

Takes a bit of tinkering, but there are a ton of Youtube videos that can walk you through the process, and I have seen the biggest technophobes get it up and running in no time.

And the only thing that costs is a decent "Debrid" service which crawls the depths of the internet to find the stuff (it's like $5 a month).

Apart from Netflix and Prime, I don't think any of the others are worth it.

My first thought reading the title was Amazon Prime and Hulu. Outside of that, Kodi is ok if used like Harry said, but it’s extremely complicated.

Apple TV (the app not the box) is new, doesn’t need a VPN, but the selection is kinda low.

I use torrent sites on my big screen so don't much care, just thought if there was an easy shot for her I'd throw it out there.

Peacock TV (NBC) does online streaming. They have free streaming with ads and a fee for no ads.

I’ve no experience with it but my brother uses it to watch Yellowstone.

You can normally tell because it says "Android" when you power it up.
