Thread: Why doesn't the right get/do humour

I've mentioned before how right wing memes/cartoons etc are lame because the right just doesn't seem to 'get' humour.

Couldn’t bear to watch all that. Greg Gutfield is so unfunny. He seems too angry to be funny. Maybe if he had a shot of Botox in is furrowed brow it would lighten up his joke delivery. Maybe.

I think that may be why conservatives are so not funny, they are just too full of anger to really laugh.

Comedy requires thick skin. Republicans are the most thin-skinned people on earth.

Fox has tried numerous times to showcase Greg Gutless in a new show, and a new format, and each and every time, he falls flat on his narcissistic face.

I think the inability to recognise humour is not because they are right-wing, but because they are from the USA...

But the left are constantly trawling through comedians past jokes and comments to cancel them.

Here's the thing, if you want a laugh, watch a comedian, not CNN or Fox.

It's like political memes from the right invariably miss their mark and fall flat.

Comedy require intelligence, an element of compassion, and.........timing.

Most ‘conservatives’ are lacking one or both of the first two and pretty much devolve to just being nasty and laughing at others misfortune instead of laughing along with them.

This. Angry and always stewing, full of hatred and thin-skinned unless it is at anothers expense or misfortune they find nothing amusing.
