^Same deal in Pattaya, foreigners have choices of real vaccines but Thai's have only Sinovac or Sinopharm to chose from.
Moderna
Pfizer-BioNTech
Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
Astra-Zeneca
Russian Sputnik - umm - 'vaccine'
Chinese Sinovac - umm - 'vaccine'
Any 'new' vaccines not mentioned above

The reason I ask is that I see a lot of farang (not just US) reporting that they are getting vaccine appointments (Pfizer) through the ExpatVac page.
Registration for the FIRST dose of the COVID-19 vaccination for foreign residents
I registered on that consular.go.th site on Aug 1st. Received an email confirming the registration but have heard nothing since
I also registered with Bangkok Pattaya hospital but received nothing from them. Now they are starting to waffle on about "boosters"....WTF? I'm holding on for a vaccine that actually works... maybe that's the problem... Hi
If you are a European, American or Japanese resident of Nonthaburi and you haven't had any success yet:

Bangkok Pattaya hospital started accepting registrations from over 40's a few days ago, before that you had to be 60+ or have pre-existing health conditions. I found out about this on Tuesday night and registered on their website, then got the text below on Wednesday (yesterday) morning. Had the choice of:
Pfizer & Pfizer
Astrazeneca & Astrazeneca
Sinovac & Astrazeneca
Sinovac & Pfizer
Got back from getting my first shot an hour ago and have an appointment in 3 weeks time for the 2nd jab. if you end up going to Central for your shots too let me know and I'll give you some tips to make your visit a little easier.
I registered, but haven't been given an appointment yet. Think they started with the over 70s, and are now possibly on the over 60's, a few more decades down the list and I might get called up.
I presume there is access if I really want one, and that one can go to a private hospital and buy one. I've neither being caring nor paying attention. Better the old fogies get taken care of first.
It's very frustrating. Age wise, I'm supposed to be in a very vulnerable group, but despite all my efforts,I can not seem to get an appointment.
Maybe I will just rock up to the hospital and wave a wad of cash around. That usually works in LOS..
You can't go to the vaccination center without an appointment, but if you can't get an appointment what can you do?
May the force be with you.

Thank you. I will try a visit to o Central and see what happens, but I have heard from several people that were turned away because they didn't have an appointment. Seen like it's a hit or miss situation like so many things here..
Kids aren't exempt. My nephew in the US recently got the Delta, despite having had both Pfizer jabs months ago; within a day, his son, only a few months old, got it. My nephew shook it off in a few days, as did his son. I doubt seriously that my nephew would have recovered so very quickly had he not been fully vaccinated. For those who consider themselves to be in low risk groups, my nephew in in superb health and in his early 30's.
Why his son recovered so fast is a mystery to me.
Yeah don't go without an appointment and confirmation text on your phone to show them, they were turning everyone away that didn't have one today including the guy I was chatting with as we shuffled towards the first check-point. Can't understand why you haven't got an appointment if you've registered with BP hospital already, there's been no talk on any local media or groups of people not getting their turn. Are you a previous BPH patient with a card and number from them?
Crisis has been averted....I received an SMS just now giving me an appointment. I registered again and the SMS arrived in about 2 minutes. A complaint to TD and the Thai establishment switched on immediately...
Finally got my first Pfizer shot this morning. My normal 15 min drive to Central extended to 45 minutes because the whole place was flooded with people wading down the middle of the road and abandoned cars and motorbikes here and there. Only about 100 people showed up this morning according to the check in staff. They had 600 appointments today.
It's good to get it done at last. Second shot in 3 weeks. I hope Pattaya will have dried out by then.
^ Good news. Situation does seem to be getting better - slowly.
Apparently, 10% of the 1.5 million Pfizer doses America donated to Thailand were allocated for foreigners — with the rest going to medical staff, etc.
I've read that Thailand has already paid for 10-20 million Pfizer doses which will arrive later this year.
Unvaccinated Thais — especially teens — will be at the top of the list.
