    Great to hear bud.

I am currently working on getting AZ jab first week of Aug. Doing it the Thai way. Calling in some high powered political connection. Will let folks know if it works.

Just found out last night the 21 year old son tested positive. He and 4 other workmates are at home being attended to by health care folks in Samut Prakan. He is strong and healthy with only a low fever and sore throat so expect he will be fine in a couple weeks. Plus, hopefully immune.

Take good care of that, it might end up being your vaccine passport.

Getting 1st Pfizer jab on the 25th or 26th in Dubai. Leaving phuket and flying direct soon. At the very least if the domestic rules for travel to phuket don’t change I can ASQ in Bangkok then use my one jab to get into phuket later. Or go back to Dubai and get second jab, then sit there for 14 days, then go through the sandbox. Either way it’s still sit in Dubai doing fuckall for 14 days letting the required time tick off, or sit in Bangkok doing fuckall for 15 days.

Playing hell getting my wife vaccinated in phuket since we just “officially” moved here. Shits a fucking circus.

I'm pretty sure that you and your wife will have accessed the Phuket site for registration, however here it is again (ignore the 'bad request', the link works)

Weve been off and on that site for weeks and in her case it’s the issue that we just officially moved here. We don’t own a house in phuket and we have to have cooperative owners willing to provide a proper rental agreement along with their tabien baan(s) and ID cards which until now nobody wanted to be bothered with. We’ve got a proper house now and all the paperwork so now she’s got to go through the poo yai baan in this area, which is how everyone here we’ve talked to has gotten vaccinated when they aren’t a property owner or family of a property owner. Poo yai method requires my wife to go to the tessaban and register and a load of running around.

In my case immigration straight blocked my phuket.win application because I haven’t been “in phuket” for 90 days. TM30, rental agreements, paperwork and proof be damned.

Only a stupid person (like you) would buy a house in an area where they haven’t lived for a while, It’s fantastic here right now but I’ve got no gauge on how it’ll be when there’s 10 million tourists running around. The next 2-3 years will decide wether I commit to retiring in Thailand (something you’ll never be able to consider) or piss off back home to get frail and die.

Now fuck off and post about your stupid cheeseburgers.

I’d like to know what “paperwork” I could have gathered that would bypass the arbitrary 90 days rule they threw at me OR how it could be overcome in any way considering im an oil worker who travels for work evey month or two.

But I seriously doubt you have any intention of being helpful and just wanna take some drunken swipes, as per.

So you have not been in Phuket for the last 90 days then?

IF you're a rig pig, then the company pays.

best not try and be cute and hide details if you want help.

No such thing as "in Phuket" - or either were, or you were not.

Just so we’re clear, it’s not my fault that you’re a drunken insufferable cnut who knows nothing about me.

And so we’re double clear I just fucking said a couple posts above I was flying to Dubai to get vaccinated.

    Put the bottle down.

    Good job.

It also means you were not in Phuket for the last 90 days.

It also means you do not need a vaccination,

honestly, you need to be a bit more polite, and a bit more forthcoming if I am going to be able to help you, young man.

Never asked for your help, and I wouldn’t trust a fucking thing you said if my life depended on it.

PS you greened me the other day and called me a “boomer” and I truly enjoyed you thinking I’m a geriatric like you.

    Rightfully so.
It has been tried by so many to temporarily move to an area that has better access to vaccine like Phuket or Samui who got more doses because they are slowly opening up for tourists.

^So far....Wife doesn't get the J&J for two days yet. And, I've still got the kids to do. But, so far, so good.

Living on Luzon has, in my opinion, been a major factor. Vaccines arrive here, and the Gov't keeps what they want for Luzon, and then sends the rest to the provinces. In fairness some, like Pfizer, need special storage and don't travel well - even on Luzon, in Alabang, right next door to Manila, a number of Pfizer jabs recently were lost to problems in the storage facility.

No doubt it does. Manila is the center of the PI universe as is Bangkok in the LoS. Suppose makes sense given largest population centers but makes folks in the sticks very irritated.
