You of course need to consult with your doctor, but given your conditions, not being vaccinated might be more dangerous than the dangers a vaccine might present to you.
I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve, finely by age 60 it had to be replaced, the scar tissue from the operation induced bradycardia (as low as 32 bpm) and dual chamber arrhythmia. After resisting for a couple of years I had a pace maker installed, and a stent, so for six months I was also on warfarin. .My cardiologist in the US insisted that I be vaccinated as soon as a vaccine was available, and received both shots of pfizer. For me it was a non event, with no side affects. .
You of course have additional issues that might complicate things, but if I was you , I would certainly talk to your doctor about it.

sorry BB but i have lost ALL TRUST with doctors here.if you only knew what i went through after being prescribed medication for seizers which almost killed me,the doctor knew i was on warfarin yet after suffering tremendous what i thought was side affects, after consulting with the heart surgeon who done the valve op [uk] it turned out the meds was top of the list of interactions not to be taken if you are on warfarin.i was in grave danger of havin a blood clot on my [mechanical] valve due to my warfarin level droping to 1.3 when my range was 2-3,the pharmacist knew this and told me what meds to get,may 2018,touch wood i have not had a seizer since,
i had trouble with my left calf muscle,i had a ct.scan and was referred to another hospital.i went along with the result [CD] and a letter saying i might need an amputation.
well for starters they got the wrong leg,a blocked artery, but it turned out after consulting with a diff.hospital it was a lack of vitamin b.and hydrachoride tabs did the trick.
so as no covid vacine has been tested for any interactions i will take my chance. SO NO VISITORS.

This is true. But vaccinations are tested on a wide range of people with all sorts of medical histories and medications. A bad drug interaction would pop up fairly quickly. However, overall, vaccination/drug interactions tend to be fairly rare (across a whole gamut of vaccines).

And those that are hesitant should truly keep this in mind.
The science and development of vaccines is quite remarkable.

    I hear you.
When I was prescribed a blood thinner after a stent , I did my research and found out that the Omaprazol that I take to settle down my stomach , reduced the affectedness of the blood thinner, I called my cardiologist and he changed the Omeprazole to Pendaprazol who was not as affective at settling my stomach, but did not react with the blood thinner.
Moral of the story is, Listen to the doctor but do your own research and verify. Medical care has become such a conveyor belt type of operation, it is easy for doctors to miss things.
I am sure they have done a lot of research on every condition as it relates to vaccines, and after millions of people vaccinated they have faced every condition and are aware of the risks even if your doctor might not be, so consult with your doctor, then go home and sit in front of your computer and research " Warfatin and Pfizer vaccine" "epilepsy and Pfizer vaccine" "Various medications you are on, and Vaccine" etc etc.
And if you are still not comfortable with it, you are the one who has to live with it ,your decision.
    Good luck

William Shakespeare dies at 81 after becoming first man in world to get Covid vaccine

Tributes have been paid to Mr Shakespeare who hit global headlines on December 8 last year when he became the first man to have the jab at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire

The first man in the world to be given the Covid vaccine has died.

Bill, as he was fondly known, passed away last Thursday after suffering a stroke - at the same hospital where he famously received his vaccine.

His picture appeared on front pages across the world - much to both his and his family's delight.

But, at the time, much was played on the fact that he was called William Shakespeare and was from Warwickshire, but the pensioner was a fiercely proud of being from Coventry according to his friends.

Now fully vaccinated with two doses of AZ.
All proved by a well organized medical team, and free of charge, at the expense of Indonesian government resources.
These resources courtesy of the W.H.O. Covax programme, designed to help poorer and less resourced counties.

According to Seeking Ass, I was run out of Thailand for some nefarious reason. How lucky was I to end up in Bali. I have the same retirement visa, minus jumping through hoops and 90 day reporting. Much simpler here, just like the COVID-19 vaccine programme.
For all the good friends I left behind as expat ‘aliens’, I hope Thailand gets its shit together and affords you some protection against Covid-19.

You must have had your ducks in a row. But you can still go to Legian Beach and watch the turds bobbing past.

I think it’s pure luck to be honest. Indonesia got AZ because it came from the Covax scheme on behalf of WHO. There was probably a caveat about free availability to all, when it was given.
Bali gets priority because the local economy is mostly tourism based, and being an island, it can be run as a separate bubble.
I live in sleepy Sanur, so Legian is not on my radar. Even here the Hindu police close the beaches on a whim, so most beaches are recovering nicely thanks.

I like Sanur, last place I stayed at.

So what are the requirements for a retirement visa there? I see rents are nice and low.

I need to show. 25m IDR in my bank account. That’s about GBP 1225 at today’s exchange rate. You need to be 50+ and have an address.
Apart from that, it’s pretty straight forward. Government authorized visa agents will do it all, for a price, or you can do it yourself. There are plenty of agents and competition keeps charges reasonable. I paid about 400 quid for my last renewal. If you have your own health insurance, that helps too.

If you want a private pool villa on the beach side of the bypass, prices are pretty good right now. It won’t last forever though.
I like the peace and quiet now, with no Bogan tourists. Stay away from Kota/Seminyak and you won’t go far wrong.

It was 12 weeks but now seems to be reduced Dave. Initially the gap was science derived but now seems a scramble, i'll tale a couple of weeks less

You know i do recall having a discourse with Knowsitlike, in a previous life he assured me no vaccine could be produced safely within 2-3 years. Now one of my sisters, a previous GSK bio creature but no longer involved said if corners were cut its doable in 12 months or less, but KIL said its not like making Coke as in Cola, well where is he now, the jab expert? been quiet a while now, not bragging but thank the Lord it came to pass.

    Same here.
Three months sounds to me like a very long time., but I guess if they don't have enough vaccine , they want to get the first shot and the 76% protection it provides into as many people as possible. Not unlike what the Thai government is doing in Phuket and had been roundly criticized by many in this and other forums.

The original gap was to allow as many first doses as possible.

But because most of the trials used eight weeks, that was preferred.

They have plenty of data now so I don't suppose it's an issue either way.

I believe that's that norm for Pfizer, Moderna and Sinovac. Largely, because there's enough cycling quantity to befit a shorter time frame between jabs.
The longer the stretch between shots the less effective the first or second one.
Though, within many circles, this process is heavily debated and questioned, as the AZ vaccine is not a RNA variety...so more than likely is required a longer stint between jabs.

Do you have any evidence to back this up?

    Because, you know...

A recent study out of the United Kingdom found that lengthening AstraZeneca’s dosing interval to 12 weeks or more was more effective against COVID-19 than administering the doses six weeks apart.
