As for me I managed to get the Pfizer shot but once again will not get the booster for who knows how long. I'm hearing four months booted around nowadays

Got my second dose of Moderna yesterday and all went well. Had a slight flushed feeling in the face for about 20 minutes but that went away and nothing felt at all after that.

Vaccination science is very well understood but it seems a lot of Americans are hesitant to get the vaccine. The education system has really gone down hill after the 60's and 70's.

Feeling a bit rough today after my AZ yesterday, but its no more than aches and a feeling like a cold coming on, happy though as its an immune response.

    Yes, the second shot.

Just an aside, it seems there has been an unexpected hesitancy here in Canada in terms of any of the vaccines. This seems particularly true for the province of Quebec. I have no idea what that's all about. Many are taking a pass on the AstraZeneca jab in particular.

The rollout and messaging in Canada has been close to a disaster and the feds are working really hard now endeavouring to encourage people to take a jab, any jab.

The second shot is the second of a two-part vaccine.

A booster is something they give you if you've had two sinopharms.

I had the second dose of Pfizer yesterday afternoon and I too feel a bit sore in the joints and muscles. Other than that all is well.

First shot of AZ yesterday, all is well no side effects so far. At 58 I was surprised to get it so early, I was expecting October- December. (western Canada)

^ You just made the cut off, seems the Serum export issue and possibly the EU embargo may affect those below 50 with some sayng a delay of up to 2 months. The UK has planned for 2nd doses within the 12 week timeframe for those who've recieved their first.

I'll be having the Moderna vaccine, but I don't know when - hopefully this 2nd qtr. Probably when the shipment arrives in the PI and gets distributed to the private sector. Mine will be company-provided.

Only a million doses or so have been jabbed into the arms of PI citizens - mostly for health workers as they're the 1st priority. (There are 110M Filipinos.) Some govt officials have had theirs too. They either got the Sinovac (donated by China) or AZ vaccines (from Covax org).

Hope you get it soon Katie. The laudable covax scheme has his the buffers a bit, sadly it was all too predictable. I think in future you'll see more countries looking to secure their own manufacturing capability.
