Just got my first Pfizer so I’ll save my moderna for the booster and give the other one to my mrs.

Pfizer was free.

Drove about an hour out of town to where someone’s Aunti got us into a free queue through the back door.

The place offering me flu shots. The document says that they won't accept me if I've had a covid jab within 4 weeks.

Don't want the flu shot anyway.

...SD and I got flu shots 3 weeks after second vax...no repercussions noted from doctors or viruses...

I have had a cold already this year and they have been doing the rounds judging by other colleagues at different sites across the country. The Flu Jab rollout is in full swing and offered to all over 50s and the COVID booster is also mid rollout so all in all don't think the UK could be more prepared. I don't think there will be another lockdown.

Have to agree with Armstrong et al, I was told the same thing when I had my second Pfizer-BioNTech

That would be an accurate assumption, however in this case the doctor did not even ask me that. The thing is that there is no shortage of vaccines here, and I was originally jabbed back in February. Everyone that needs a booster can literally walk into a clinic and get a jab. Either way, I got both the Pfizer booster and my flu jab. I am good to go.

Just got 2nd AZ jab 3 hrs ago. Will get the cert in 5 days. Went in on time appointed after 1st jab and was in n out in 10 mins. Done at provincial hospital. No charge.

No after effects as yet.

I've had two Pfizer's spaced 2 months apart.

Daughter has had two Pfizer's spaced 21 days apart.

I read that the actual initial Pfizer trials were 21days between shots.

^I had my Pfizer 2nd jab 21 days after. So that's the reason - I wondered why the jabs were so close to each other. Other brands took 1 month or more for the 2nd dose. Felt a bit feverish, weak & sore arm - more so for the 2nd dose than the first. I haven't turned into a zombie, so I'm OK. :)

Philippines has now vaccinated ~38% of its target population (as of yesterday's report). According to the presidential spokesperson, it may open to foreign tourists when 50% is reached (the business & tourism sectors are lobbying for it). Target for 50% is end of the year, so it may open in January. But there was also a statement some months ago that it will open when 70% is reached (around March). There's also talk of sandbox programs (Boracay, Bohol or Cebu). So it's still up in the air...

The vaccination centre at Bang Sue Grand Station in Bangkok will from Wednesday begin registering people who have had two doses of Sinovac or Sinopharm for a booster shot of AstraZeneca vaccine.

The Central Vaccination Centree posted the announcement on its Facebook page.
People who earlier received two doses of vaccine at any venue under the following four formulas could register for a booster shot at CVC’s Bang Sue Grand Station in Bangkok, the announcement said.

The four fomulas are:

-Sinovac as first shot and Sinovac as second shot;
-Sinopharm as second dose and Sinopharm as second dose;
-Sinovac as first dose and Sinopharm as second dose; and
-Sinopharm as first dose and Sinovac as second dose.


The interval between the second dose and the booster shot must be at least 30 days and recipients must not have received a booster dose before.

Booster dose vaccinations are scheduled at Bang Sue Grand Station from Nov 13 to Nov 30.
Registration is online only.
