^^ I keep meaning to go there, site of the old tobacco factory down the end of Soi 4. I'm amazed they didn't develop it, the land is worth a fortune.

    Great Park!

Use to take pedlos out on the lake then go for cheap fish and chips in the conference centre.

Big turtle pond there as well and a cycle hire place for the cycle path circumnavigating the lake.

Opposite the Nana Tai Mansions Hotel, its still a Chinese restaurant, well it was when I was last there.

The cigarette factory was still in operation as well, must be 2009 now.

Pretty cool 6 tableThai restaurant next door, the couple had travelled extensively overseas.
We had a son each the same age at the time and they used to play Ben 10 computer games together while the dad and I talked music he had a varied music collection and was quite knowledgeable for a Thai on mudical history.

Next door to that was an old mama and papa shop, cheap as chips and very friendly.

A world away from the other end of the soi.
    Shalom

'I am an ecosexual - I'm in a relationship with an oak tree' - LancsLive

A woman describes herself as an "ecosexual" - and says she's an "erotic" relationship with an oak tree.
Sonja Semyonova has always felt lonely but says her new relationship with the tree has filled a void. Sonja, a self-intimacy guide, even says that the feelings she experiences with the tree are what she has always looked for in a person.

The 45-year-old said: "The presence I feel with the tree is what I'm looking for but that's a fantasy with a person. The feeling of being tiny and supported by something so solid.

"The feeling of not being able to fall. I had been craving that rush of erotic energy that comes when you meet a new partner and that is not sustainable."
Sonja moved to Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada in the winter of 2020 and went on daily walks during lockdown. During her walks, Sonja would stroll past a large oak tree near her home and she began having "erotic" experiences in summer 2021.
