Well, in my opinion that applies to a pretty small sub-group of the people posting from overseas. Though I could be accused of bias, of course.

Actually, isn't it currently one person.

It's actually weird how you think everyone will just unquestioningly invest in the notion that you didn't come back here and immediately start throwing your shit around.

Well, this place definitely has room to grow considering how many people fucking despise thai visa. Could easily be where thaivisa refugees go for shelter and food, but its not. Theres a reason it hasn't grown, and in fact seems even more destitute than it just a few years ago.

Pretty sure most of the people on here can probably come to a consensus on why that is.

    Hmm...not sure we're missing much.

They mostly seem to come over to whine about Thai Visa.

Well, as I said...you just nailed it.

The 'Plus there are too many posters different from me, who always....' line is just either venting or a wind up.

    imo, obvs.

Kinda weird that you think people are as emotionally obsessed with me as you clearly are

I agree to a point Slick but I am a mod on a Truck site in the US that has HUGE traffic numbers and it would never work using FB or twitter or even Reddit Same with my Drone sites I frequent. Twitter and FB are good for some things as my wife has showed me a but I have found them to be utterly worthless for most everything else. I do not have a FB or Twitter or Instagram acct. doubt I ever will.

For me TD is just for fun. Its not informative or all that interesting in general but it does have it moments where I can get a few good laughs and share some things I do here.

Again, in light of coming back and immediately sending repos to vent your historical butthurt that makes precisely zero sense.

I remembered you were a pussy but had kinda forgotten just how thick you actually are.

    What's 'a low-level alcoholic' mean?

Im a member of a few racing forums and electrical forums as well, and for technical problems they are hands down still the best. Reddit, as gay as it is, has good info for IT/TV/Web stuff among other odd things.

I think more to my point is thailand expat based sites to pass the time and interact with people. Forums are just basically dead in that regard. Suck for news. Suck for community. Suck for meeting people. Suck for actually learning anything.

I dont have any other social media, but mostly because im too busy most of the time with work and everything. But I do have a throwaway account on facebook for their marketplace, which is hands down the best place to look for just about anything for sale in Thailand.

See, there's something of specific interest to a defined but very large group of people.

You can all get together and generate hundreds of posts about the new cam shaft Toyota have come up with...or whatever.

A forum basically about a foreigners life in a country can't really do that. Well, I guess it could if it were about things like analysing the language or looking deeply at the culture etc.

    And that wouldn't be TD.

Unless of course a lady boy can come up with some incredibly difficult to perform 'add on' to a bj or something that lots of people want to rush out and get.

    Agreed Cyrille.

Forums are still incredibly active and I rely on the Automotive/Moto, Drone and GoPro sites because of the excellent information shared and seldom ever is there bashing or petty games. Even TVF has a few value add sections but generally speaking is boring it just has more posters to spread the nonsense out with.

You missed the key poster on that one, "thick Karen". He did not quite get the thread.

Over the messages for only 2 days then video chats. Met at Bangkok Airport, it was love ❤️ at first sight, months later our love still grows, engaged to my perfect lady. Friends' suggestion and well worth the small amount of investment for such an amazing return...

It's been a fantastic 8 weeks so far. The brother drives us about everywhere, she is like a mother to her 2 little nieces (that look so much like her and her brother). The only dampener is that I have not had a chance to meet her mother yet as she had a bike accident. Long story short, she hit a stray buffalo, but it only cost us 40K for the doctor's bill and another 25k for the buffalo.

    Loving the real Thailand.
Which caused Thick Karen to have a Eureka moment.

    Anyway, back to business.
One topic that has never been resolved to my satisfaction is the bumgun issue.
Surely you end ep with a wet butt with fecal matter spread around and then pull up your underdaks and that can't be good,
Everythings wet and you smell like shit.

^ No! I just had bidets put on the toilets at this house in the USA. You must dry your bum off before you put on your trousers. It actually helps some people around here smell less like ass!

^Yes. However, I noticed in Spain that people had a towel on a rack next to their bidets.
