The theme this year is inspired by Monsieur Mendips fine efforts in the Gothenburg student kitchen

It is called Roast Crimble Chicken (pretending to be a turkey) with stuffing reposing on a bed of petit pois...

Washed down with a bottle of fake champagne....

And finished off with the tiniest box of the finest chocolates love or money can buy...

i had khao soi on top of a mountain at Mae Jam, not transferred the pics or the patience to figure ouit the byzantine posting required

the khao soi was better than no khao soi, but a huge portion made by a friendly Hmong women

It was way too big for me. Some place in Hua Hin.

I assume it's small but the uploady thing is shit ona phone.

It's big enough to see you just doubled your veggie intake for the year.

Unless that green stuff was just scraped off again by the dishwasher.

That is the 2nd half of the first bag of peas I have ever purchased in my life Mendip for I am a novice in this department

But you have opened my eyes to the charms and wonders of the humble petit pois so may there be many more bags from the frozen foods department of coles and woollies in my trolley

Will be using AO’s meat loaf recipe this year for a one man feast. No gathering of relatives and the daughter decided to stay in Pullman. About an hour from now will be watching the Camellia Bowl and cheering on the Thundering Herd!

Stuffed turkey and some sort of mashed potato omelette thingy. Nice, but not like ol' Blighty.

Just two of us, so decided against Turkey this year. Instead a nice piece of Angus steak with prawns and scallops in a Korean style grill and hot pot...
