It is really beautiful. Cold, but beautiful.

We spent the day in Christchurch city . . . we took the city-tram on a 24-hour pass. The city as been largely rebuilt since the massive earthquake a decade ago, but eerily empty areas still dot the landscape . . . and of course several buildings still sitting there, crumbling - like the old cathedral

Very nice pics. No fashion choices worthy of mockery, unfortunately.

They're doing a bloody good job of maintaining those old trams.

Those seats and tables are a touch close together the trams, an accident waiting to happen. The city looks great.

    Pfft . . . again - philistine . . . though you would have 'liked' today's choice.

They're a city icon . . . interestingly half of them were brought over from Australia, still have the old Aussie (Sydney) ads posted

It is a lovely city - even has the river Avon winding through it. And yes, close to ten years in February.

Ya, can't get my FiL to sit close enough for an 'accident'

Not my photos, the cathedral before and after (and still now)
