The TD Influenced Xmas Charity Pub Quiz

So I'm hosting a pub quiz. Looking for fun/interesting/trick/sick/intellectual questions.

3 rounds of 20 questions each and multiple answer high scoring questions will be reserved for round 4 and handed out on paper at the start, to be submitted at the end.

R1.Q1. What is the Guinness record for the most amount of times a piece of paper has been folded in half?

Q2. What was the original name for Guinness?

    R4.Q1. Name Santa's Reindeer.

Q2. Name all of The Beatles Studio Albums.

It's for charity, a local shelter for mistreated women and children.

Once we're done I'll post up my previous quiz.

    What you got?
    Lang may yer lum reek...

In 60 years, what character is mentioned in nearly every episode of Coronation Street, but never made an appearance?

I think the idea of a quiz is to provide the answer.

It's NOT supercalifragilisticexpialidocious either. Or ratatouille.

Have a think about the demographic of your audience.

A mix of questions aimed at old, middle-aged, young ... male/female ... STEM based ... Arts and entertainment.

But if you are an ex-pat in Thailand ... then old, middle-aged men it is

Q/ What does STEM stand for?

Q/ Current Captain of the English Cricket Team?

Q/ What day in 2020 the winter solstice be in England

Q/ What year was the Battle of Hastings?

Q/ Who is 4th in line for the Crown of England?

Q/ Which film won the 2020 BAFTA for best film?

Q/ Which film won the 2020 BAFTA for best British Short film?

Q/ How many 'Carry On' films were there (not including the 4 Christmas specials)

For a 2 bonus points, name 5 of them

Q/ In what year did the BBC2 launched Europe's first colour service.

For a bonus point what was broadcast?

Q/ When did seatbelts become by law mandatory to wear in the UK?

    No Googling you lot!
Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago ...

For many, yes. For me, it's more about arguing with the quizmaster and winning, and exasperating the landlord (ideally the same person) without getting thrown out of the pub.

    The answer is "Engine."

It's "will the winter." Thursday. There's a one in seven chance I'm right.

1066. If only they'd had pointed sticks, they could have seen the Norman cavalry off.

Charlotte. It goes Chuck, Bill, Jorge, Charlie.

Caught Short. It's the sequel to Catch Shorty.

Right.... I reckon they were doing at least two every year throughout the 60s (so, at least twenty). They were doing a roaring trade until at least 1975. So.... including Carry on Columbus (early 90s)....
    I dunno.... 31.

It's BBC2, not the BBC2. That's like saying The Pink Floyd, or The Pixies, or The C.I.A. And it's "launch," not "launched." I want bonus points. Python's in colour, so.... 1967.

    Snooker. No, Chess.

1983, I think. Maybe early 1984. I was liable, having just turned 14.

^ Not to sound my own trumpet, but I am the Googlemeister. If I Googled, not only would all my answers be absolutely right, but many of yours would be absolutely wrong. I'm a prick like that. Famous for it.
