^ Snaff??? Fuck me. That name pre-dates me.

So - who were you previously?

And why would a newbie copy both Edmond's avatar and nick apart from a very small change in the spelling of the nick? It's the kind of thing 12call might do. I'm surprised the mods have allowed it to stand.

I didn't have the high teased hair - wrong decade. I did have this bob cut with bangs/ fringe, like Dora the Explorer.

And yes, my mom cut my hair as a kid, to save $$.

I think snaff was Barbaro/ pizza guy?

Ah shure, we all love a groupie.

Even if it is an overweight 55 year old man with egg stains on his vest and jocks.

I've started doing my own haircuts this year with a beard trimmer.

This is partly because it's been so hard to get to a barbers with such long offshore and office work trips, and partly because I got so pissed off spending 25 quid in Norway for a Number 2 all over which was about 10 minutes work.

How I miss my 70 Baht Korat haircuts!

In saying that, my hair looks pretty ragged these days as it's extremely difficult trimming around the back with no decent mirror. Maybe a mullet would be the way to go?

I should be in the ocean.... Persian Gulf, Half Moon Bay, near Dhahran, but we drove there from Abqaiq. We had just begun to enjoy the thrill of bodysurfing.

Which, to be fair, could definitely make that list.

...not much of that at Half Moon, even for a child's body...

Depended on the time of year. Most of the time we went water skiing. Many families had boats and as kids we figured out how to make an extra long tow rope so we could be pulled off the dunes into the water and keep going.

Looking carefully I can now see the tow headed kid with a crewcut looking for waves is Jimmy Davidson, and he lived in Ras Tanura, so it could well be Ras Tanura on second thought..

Long time ago these days. This would have been say "59".
