Isn't that where they sacrificed by the thousand, and rolled the bodies down to the cheering crowds, thankful to be down not up?

Woodstock, Canada, 1800s; the girl (Collins) was declared dead and then buried, with her body intended to be exhumed a few days later for reburial in some other place.
When her body was dug up, her knees were up to the chin...
...her arm twisted behind her head, there were scratch marks on the inside of her coffin, and her shroud was torn into pieces. She was alive and in a coma at the time of burial, though the medical 'professionals' failed to identify the signs, so this young girl awoke to find herself trapped inside a box, not knowing she was actually underground, and probably died several deaths before actually dying.
Vivisepulture, live or premature burial, was not unknown in those days, and we can only guess at the terror she experienced.
This is just one case; there have been so many people buried alive in past ages that those who could afford it had custom designed safety coffins.
The person assumed to be dead had a safety rope which they can pull and the flag will be in upright position.
The raised flag would alert anyone nearby, and from there it would be a race to unbury the victim before he dies of dehydration, hypothermia, starvation, unintentional self harm, or coronary.
Other coffins were designed with bells, emergency air flow valves, and food and drink.
From this we also get the terms 'graveyard shift/watch', coined in the USA late 1800s, for the early morning shift, typically midnight-8am.

But the cows stayed in Kenya.
Did Masai Tribespeople Donate 14 Cows to the United States After 9/11?
If I meet any oldies from Pompeii in Heaven, I'll ask. Just to be sure.

During the Jap tsunami some traffic cams showed cars driving in one direction, then turning to escape the oncoming trickle as it turned into torrent; on the couple that I watched, really felt for those in cars that didn't make it and were carried away like plastic toys.
And yes it does make sense to try and escape death.
We've seen Armsy drunk.
I think this is the first time we've seen him drunk and angry.
Anyone else think it's kinda cute.
^ Too true, he sounds hilarious whenever he speaks German . . . and English, of course.
Still, good on him for going so far based on his muscles alone for most of the time - and he ain't dumb
^when I grow up I want to be like you dad.
A serviceable stool, or a door stop.
