The Safest Destinations for Last Minute Summer Travel

Not sure if anyone is interested in travelling anytime soon, but I was looking at what 'sunny beach' places could be safer to travel to during covid. The list was updated October 1st. The Maldives would be nice right now!

Barbados, Seychelles and St. Lucia would as well!!! It could just be too much trouble..... i'll see about next summer.

Had something pop up somewhere or other, 5 nights on one of those jetty style resorts on a sandbar there for 35k baht.

Sounded really cheap until you take in the 14 days of quarantine and the absolute ballache of getting back into Thailand after it.

The Maldives is an idyllic looking place, but the local government is up in arms over the occupation of the islands by Indian military forces. The authorities there are demanding greater autonomy, and much lower military presence in their islands.

The Bahamas are a rich mans playground. Horrendously expensive.

The Canaries are about to be hit by a nationwide nighttime curfew in an attempt to curb a surge in Covid cases.

I didn’t read any further. This article has clearly been coobled together by a student journalist, leafing through travel brochures, in her desk bound apprenticeship. No effort made to fact check or even cursory critical thinking.

Its obviously gleaned from UK travel agency PR that is as least a year old. Canadian links don’t add any weight to it.

You should be more sceptical of this kind of nonsense.

Not unusual for poorly investigated MSM.
