Even though I grew up in the 80s, it's gotta be 70s.

70s definitely . . . and Stevie Nicks was a dream. But then I also thought Anna and Agnetha were worth . . . umm . . . listening to
1970s. Saw them at the Sydney Show Ground in 1977 but LRB stole that show by singing an encore of Return to Sender...it was soon after Elvis had died. Santana was also on the same bill.
Should be 60s or 70s.
Rumours has always been a favourite album of mine. Even today I often listen to The Chain.
By coinbcidence there is an interview with Stevie Nicks in todays Guardian
Stevie Nicks on art, ageing and attraction: ‘Botox makes it look like you’re in a satanic cult!’ | Stevie Nicks | The Guardian
She's 72 now. How the years go by.
Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green were terrific. He died earlier this year.
I always prefered Christine McVie to Stevie Nicks as a singer
Rumours was a great album
Ummmm.... Ray?
Every song on Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, ranked from Worst to Best | Louder
Or are you merely quibbling over his spelling?
Yeah. Too easy.
The Fleetwood Mac of the late 1960s/early 1970s were the true Fleetwood Mac.
With talented accompaniment of the likes of Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwan, Bob Welch, Bob Preston, etc
An interesting side note as to their formation back in the good old days. As one might know, John McVie was the original bassist in John Mayall's Blues Breakers - Peter Green traveled in the same circle and company as Mayall, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Steve Winwood, Dave Mason, and others....John McVie and Peter Green were kinda best mates by '67. And so it goes.
Another figure of the six degrees of rock separation.
Love Fleetwood Mac's songs.. Rumour album especially. I also dig the 80's music. I am up on my eighties stuff as my brother plays it on the guitar and I normally sing or we sing 80's karaoke.. or used to. Men without Hats springs to mind.
I do like a bit of the 80s stuff though for a bit of easy listening every now and then. Tango in the Night was a great 80s pop album.
Boomer lemon party this thread is. My dad has a Fleetwood mac 8-track
Too many favorites to name, but this is one of them. Edge of Seventeen, Go Your Own Way, Dreams, etc...
Stevie Nicks is a Legend.
She was absolutely delicious in her prime in the 70s but I think it's time she gave it up. The voice has gone to be replaced by a caricature of her former virtuosity denoted now by harshness and rasp. Peter Green was the best British Blues guitarist of his era and way ahead of Clapton in terms of feel, emotion and soul. Poor guy just took too much acid that triggered his schizophrenia.
Incidentally, has anyone seen the tribute band that has sellout gigs in Britain. When I first saw them on YT I briefly thought I had caught some recorded FM gig with a Buckingham replacement. Musically you couldn't tell the difference.
