What ? Miami Dade doesn't shoot 100% of its street runoff and sewage into outer space ? Like every other beach city does except Pattaya city ?
Not to mention how salt ocean water naturally breaks down and disperses basically anything you can put in it. Especially organic matter like sewage

You know what ? I don't fuckin care what the political ins and outs of this was.

They redid their coastal frontage. Right around the Mall of Asia and it looks good. And I'm happy for them and I'll enjoy it the next time I'm there.

For all his infantile, poorly educated bluster, he has only ever visited Asian destinations, motly about ten or more years ago, as a hedonistic tourist. He does not think Pattaya, Phuket and Fields Avenue have changed much.He is therefore surprised to learn that Manila has had a cheap waterfront makeover.He is probably assuming that a third world country has spent billions on serious environmental impacts like they do in the west.
