Why would sabang be interested? He clearly already knows it all.
It's all relative, really. As opposed to you, most definitely.

What makes it worse is he knows little to nothing about anything. Then tries to play along with the "big boys". He reminds me of a 6 year old brother trying to hang with his big brother and friends. Its particularly bad when he tries to discuss Asia and in specific Thailand.
O'ooh- so when did I hurt your prurient little aging butt? Having lived in Asia for 25 years, I know enough to know I'll never know all about Asia. I daresay you've lived here long enough to know the same.

tries to play along with the "big boys"
Who exactly are these 'Big Boys'? You? Go on a diet then.

Like the Pattaya bar oligarch that I quoted

    Monkeys On Typewriters

“If one puts an infinite number of monkeys in front of (strongly built) typewriters, and lets them clap away, there is a certainty that one of them would come out with an exact version of the Iliad. Upon examination, this may be less interesting a concept than it appears at first: Such probability is ridiculously low. But let us carry the reasoning one step beyond. Now that we have found that hero among monkeys, would any reader invest his life’s savings on a bet that the monkey would write the Odyssey next?”

“I do not deny that if someone performed better than the crowd in the past, there is a presumption of his ability to do better in the future. But the presumption might be weak, very weak, to the point of being useless in decision making. Why? Because it all depends on two factors: The randomness content of his profession and the number of monkeys in operation.”

Yeah. Because we both happened to read a book who's main message is to stop speculating and recognize your own frailty and feeblty.

The reason the US is going down the toilet is because not enough people have recognized their limitations and read this book. Which makes your answer , the stupidest fucking thing that's ever been written on Internet forums.

Yeah, Switch is not too bright, and has a foul mouth. "Shitcunt" is his favourite insult, and it speaks volumes about him.

Someone posted the authors wkipage in support of his content. He was probably the one who posted and edited it.
    Wiki? Honestly?
His list of so called achievements is as random as his writing. Which debilitated person dreamed up the wordy obscure titles for some those supposed ‘awards’?
Im surprised LD hasn’t got a similar self styled wiki page. Blowing his own trumpet is all he’s got really. The boring shitcunt.
LD partnering up with SoCal on a thread about randomness, is both amusing and ironic.

You don't have the intellectual depth or curiosity to even read books. Much less post about them. Which is why you haven't heard of Nassim Taleb. You have no political or ideological convictions. Its the same shallow gut reaction to everything.

Why would anyone capable of original thought need to read a book by a nobody? No one has heard of him because he’s a bullshitting fraud. Why am I not surprised that someone like you is so aligned with his lack of considered thought?

He is the modern day equivalent of a snake oil salesman, peddling ideas, for people like you, who are clearly incapable of thinking for themselves.
His ‘books’ won’t be found in any best seller list, however abstract the listing might be. They will be in the bargain bin at supermarkets, probably hidden behind used toilet rolls.

When I need your opinion on my reading ability, I’ll give it to you, knucklehead.

Some real life examples from this forum. By birth lottery you were born in USA and have every opportunity to make a great life for yourself, but by some random life event you end up slumming it in Thailand like AO.

Or even worse you end up in Philippines like Snub with highlight of your day being dishing out repo from moms basement playing and online poker which he calls coding.

Or even, even, even worse you were born Cyrille

Philippines, Snub? What are you talking about? Makes you even more stupid.

Today I decided to join TikTok
But starting this thread where the average user is 16-24 years old makes you a stupid immature baby.

I know you seek and crave attention, but you are going to have to try a lot harder than this to get it..

Post a book that you've read and got something out of. It's that hard ? I guess so, if you haven't read any books !
