50s housewife trips on LSD. (Did you ever)

    I know what she means.
I remember the sense of wonder. Maybe time to take a trip.

    Yup.

First time aged 15/16 while hanging out at the local snooker club, friends turning into gorillas, just still dressed and talking, and the snooker balls taking off, are the biggest memories.

Don't think I'd bother again. Been there done that, for a quite a few years.

Yeah me too. It was a recreational thing. Never really had a bad trip. I'd like to keep it that way

I found the trick with LSD was to take just enough to be flying, but without the hallucinations. This meant buying a large amount of the same batch and some experimentation to get it right obviously. It was cheap, you could drink/party all weekend without getting drunk or needing sleep, and with the right dosage could tool away on it like a porn-star but without the girl turning into a Crocodile mid-coitus sort of scary shit going on.

Haven't touched it since being a teen, can you still even get it these days?

E's were my poison, from maybe 17-25 years old.

Grew out of it mid-20's and haven't felt the want to since.

    Christ they were good though.

^Yeah I'd probably be giving that idea a swerve while living in Thailand. Somehow managed to avoid getting buckled while regularly meeting some dodgy purveyor or questionable pharmaceuticals known only as The Man many years ago at Marine disco, see no sense in pushing my luck like that again any time soon...

One sense easily affected by the drug:

The full list, all of which can be extended:

    3. Gustaoception (Tongue) Sense of taste
    4. Olfacoception or Olfacception (Nose) Sense of smell
    5. Tactioception (Skin)

    Four Internal Human Senses

    1. Thermoception (Skin) Lack or increase of heat (temperature)
    2. Proprioception (Body Parts) Awareness of body parts without visual input
    3. Nociception (Whole Body) Sensation of pain in the body (skin, body organs, etc.)
    4. Equilibrioception (Whole Body) Sense of balance (determined by ear fluid)

Lucky you, a few horrors here, including when I thought I could drive 80miles with 3 other trippers along a desert road. Don't try that if you prefer good trips!

Oh man ... it’s been decades! I’m thinking the last time was in 1981. Was on the USS Midway and we were in port at Subic Bay. On our way back to Yokosuka after a spell on Gonzo Station in the Indian Ocean. Ended up in a part of Olongapo then known as “The Jungle”. Don’t really remember much other than a long night of partying and dancing. And then waking up naked in the back room of some bar.

It was great growing up in the SF bay area in the late 60's into the 70's. Mr Stanley Owsley was around and working hard.

I had a friend who had a converted Chevy van. He called it the 'cid van. He used to sell acid by the sheet. I used to trip all the time back then. Concerts, parties or just any excuse we could think of to dose.

Never ever touched it and never will. The most trippy thing I've ever done is weed and even that sends my head west.

However, a couple of disco biscuits and a bit of marching powder used to be the best night ever.

Stimulants all day long. Fuck that trippy shit.

Just curious. Not that I would know.

    1. Have your cheek muscles hurt after coming down from 8 hours of smiling so much?
    2. Have you been able to write your entire name in the dark sky with a cigarette and then watch it slowly fade away from the starting point?

The last time I tripped was at least 30 years so. Dropped a tab sitting on the edge of Haleakala Crater at sunrise, then walked down into the crater. It was fantastic. Like being on another planet. Even saw two moons in the sky.

This is what the place looks like with no LSD, so you can imagine what the day was like!
