My X gf (the one I went on that Mexico trip thread with) worked for this electrical testing company and it was a bbq at the owners lake house. Pretty middle of the road crowd. The guy who sniggered was a short nerdy boomer.

So you just casually tell all and sundry that you travel to Thailand regularly ?

Well not 'regularly' but I don't hide it. But then I live in South China. For most of us here it's a long weekend at the beach. (well was until 2020 occurred)

Socal, you seem OK to me.

At least you're not desperate to impress.

You're just a bit fuckin thick but that's OK.

You might find though that lazy generalisations go around and come around.

If you don't jump to the conclusion that someone is a 'normie' then they might be less inclined to conclude you're a fookin knob

What about when you are in the west ? China just doesn't carry the same stigma really at all.

I basically decided not to hide it either. But then this incident at the bbq made me wonder what to do again.

My balls were a little sore once and I'm the type that gets paranoid about STDs. I always wear a condom.

Anyway I went to the doctor in Edmonton for a checkup. I specifically told the doctor that I went to Indonesia and not Thailand just so it wasn't as blatant. The doctor was a really old white guy. Over 70. You know what he said ? He said
"well prostitutes are higher risk so ..."

I was just 23. And I look younger than I am. I was asked for identification when buying some e-cigars the other day. Yet this doctor went straight to the prostitute angle and called me a raving whore monger to my face.

The stereotypical whore monger is usually between 30-60 years old and has some battle scars. That wasn't me. But hey. Anyone who flies east is a whore monger I guess

Well he knows that if you go on a whirlwind tour of a S.E. Asian country, not speaking the local language, odds are if you hooked up it was with a hooker. Maybe he has first hand experience. You seem to think 30 or 40 years ago nothing happened.

How do you go about telling people that you live in Pattaya as you wade through soi 6 ?

Pattaya has a whole other reputation on its own. The SE Asia normies look down on Pattaya. I personally think this is unfair and ridiculous. But that's not how everyone else sees it. There are seemingly normal white retiree couples that live in Pattaya.

If Thailand comes up in a convo about travelling , I never mention Pattaya. I always just tell ppl I went to one of the islands.

So, in your 'convos' about travelling you think the word 'Pattaya' evokes some sort of reaction? Pattaya?

He is spot on though, and that must dent your over blown ego and totally unjustified sense of self importance.

The fact that your only response to criticism, is to make shit up, speaks volumes about your paucity of self worth.

For travelers in Asia. Culture is something you have to understand before you can negotiate it.

If you screw a Muslim bird, the first thing you see her do, is rush off to the bathroom to wash her pussy.

If you screw a Hindu bird, she will tell her mom to strat planning your marriage and future kids.

If you screw a Thai bird, she probably thought the bulge in your pants was your wallet. All these observations are massive generalizations, which seem to be the basis of all your opinions.

My conclusion is that you are a shallow, halfwit monger. Having said that, you are amusing too. Keep up the daft postings.

Ah, you hadn't specified . . . because mentioning Pattaya to someone/anyone outside of those who know Thailand wouldn't elicit anything and most of those who do see it as a place where BKKers go for the weekend

So, any examples of pedophiles on celluloid?

Aussies are much more familiar with SE Asia in general than amerkins or euros. Many have been to thailand (most have been to bali). So they know about the sexpots of Thaiiland, but also about the beaches, food, resorts, golfing, marine stuff etc. Oh, and the temples too.

Pattaya of course is a filthy sexpot which we hope normies will avoid like the plague. But if you must go there and cannot bear the stigma, just tell them you go there for a golfing holiday- that should raise some sniggers. Some golfers even get lucky and score a birdy, or a hole in one.

I chose to open a forum to read, not listen to some witless Youtube. Post his writing, if it's relevant. (bet it's not)

He does talk shite, doesn't he? And all because someone laughed at him for trying to pretend he went to Thailand for the "temples".

I gotta give credit to anyone who lives in Pattaya. Nothing says I don't give a fuck normie , like living in Pattaya.

But it's funny how some of the biggest critics of Thailand on this board , are domiciled in Pattaya.

Why does Pattaya have such a bad reputation? If you were to name drop Rio de Janeiro the average normie wouldn't bat an eyelid, yet it is far seedier.
