    Silver jewelry.
While attending Vicenza Oro ( a jewelry trade show in Italy ) I met some silver jewelry manufacturers from Thailand and was invited to visit their production facilities. Had never been to Thailand before.
Long story short. While there I fell in love with Thailand and my heart never left.

My lungs got infected with fungal spores (Aspergillosis), after working in a cold, damp, basement office in London. It was a chronic illness that caused regular bouts of pneumonia, bronchitus etc. I wasn't very well My doctor said that the best option was to move to a hot and humid climate, which would be better for my lungs. My wife refused to move with me, so I moved alone to Thailand and started exercising my lungs through running and playing the khaen (not at the same time).

It took about 15 years for me to get most of the spores out of my lungs. I can 'feel' that they are still there, but nowadays I have zero effects on my health and I'm rather fit as a result of the exercise. My khaen playing still sucks though......

You might want to see it again.
The local govt pays a crew of people to sweep and clean the beach of debris every morning.
It is the only beach in Phuket these days that is crowded. (yesterday there were at least 1,000 people there)
Trash bins have been placed around the walkway near the beach and are emptied daily.
Maybe you should go see Nai Yang and compare amount of litter per beach-goer.
Most of the debris there every morning comes from fishing boats: old ropes, nets, cigarette lighters, etc.
On most beaches, this happens. But on Nai Harn, it is cleaned up daily.
    Have a nice day!

Thai Airways had the most leg room in their 747's, pre points upgrade times. Then it was "upstairs" every time.

It became my transit stop whilst visiting Asia. Normally 2 0r 3 days outwards and return. Once 2 weeks due to volcano eruption.

Virtual meetings 20 years ago. Phone calls at 2 in the morning. Hilton hotel concierge knew what to suggest to the taxi driver for my evenings out.

A move from residing in the philippines to thailand for the food is perfectly reasonable. The flange? Well. That speaks for itself. No shortage of quality clam both places.

I thought everything had gone too unusually smoothly and easily to be true until she presented me with a bill for services rendered in the morning. I decided to go with the flow and stayed with her for a week.

Her name was Rose and I fell deeply in love with her while watching her kick a frog repeatedly against a wall in a rainstorm in her flip-flops while it tried unsuccessfully to escape her attentions and she laughed uproariously.

I even wrote to her by email several times after my return. She did not reply so maybe she gave me the wrong email. Lucky I guess as I probably would have done something stupid like fly back and marry her if she had replied.

    I wonder where she is.
I think a mate of mine ended up marrying her. He was in contact with her via the postal system(letters) before email was invented. And even set her up in a frog farming venture in nakhon si bumfuck. Which sadly failed..she was however a damn good breeder and they have 15 kids now. Ive heard she wants out of the relationship as the spark haz gone out. Still a chance for you there mate.

    ^Thanks BLD

I would like to send her a chocolate frog to say thanks for being a pivotal influence on the course of my life.

If she had not come up to me unabashed and brazen as a minx on the dancefloor and wantonly started grinding her little behind into my gentleman's region before even saying hello, and then spent a week as my willing and smiling paid sex slave, then I could easily have gone home at the end of the trip and never figured out the go and would probably never have come back to the LOS.

Its all good loopy. Had a similar experience as a 19 year.old boy let loose in the land of vertical smiles..i was like a fox in a chicken coup .or so i thought. Turns out i was no match for the battle hardened charms of Noy the 56 year old hooker who claimed me as her own toyboy and promptly moved her toothbrush into my $5 a night bungalow..from.that day on all the other tarts would have no truck with my amorous suggestions and offers of financial reward. Noy was as it happened a full blown pisshead that could drink my young ass under the table. And would do unspeakable thingz with the young BLD back at the hut after closing time.Things that you shouldnt even do to a farm animal. Was traumatised by all this for a while but over it now
