Side Note: Just saw on the news that under the terms of the pardon, he's not being deported nor is he barred from reentry to the PI. Weird. He will fly out to Guam or Hawaii on a US military plane, where I presume he will be discharged from the military with a dishonorable discharge. I don't know if the US will consider him a convicted felon or not. In any case, if he gets himself a passport he can fly right back here, although I doubt that's high on his list.
And to close out the thread, he's gone. Flew out to the US on a US military aircraft this AM. A sordid chapter closed.
